20 Things the Precious Blood of Jesus Does For Us

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” (Corinthians 1:26-31)

If you watch the news in today’s world, it is easy to see that judgment is here and it is evident that it has begun! The time of grace has changed for many. We are now experiencing the most serious events that have ever taken place in our lifetime. Just like the Egyptian soldiers were relentless in their pursuit of the people of Israel, even so today the devil is seeking with all his might those he can destroy. (1 Peter 5:8) We try to make everything sweet and endearing but in these last days we have no idea how shocking things will become. Time is becoming worse than the twilight zone. It is becoming “God’s Judgment Zone.” Don’t even think the thought that some good works will save you during the time that God’s judgment is separating the wicked from the righteous. When all hell breaks loose, there is only one thing, one thing that will save you! What was it that saved Israel during the time of God’s judgment then? They were covered by the blood of the Lamb that had been sprinkled upon the doorposts of their homes (now the doorposts of our hearts), they had eaten the roasted Lamb and the Lamb was in their bellies as the death angel passed over them and was slaying all of the firstborn (the natural man). God was judging the world and destroying the powers that kept God’s people in bondage. The natural man thinks that he has to do good works to be saved. The shed blood is the only thing that shows God that someone has died and the judgment has been administered! It is impossible to escape from God’s judgment. The wages of SIN is death! (Romans 6:23) Only when the blood is shed is the creature truly dead. We have to be in God’s program and be following God’s instructions with the blood of the Lamb (upon our hearts) to escape from God’s judgment that comes upon the world. Only when the death angel sees the blood will he pass over you. We have entered the time in human history where the righteous will scarcely be saved. (1 Peter 4:18) We have to be covered with the blood of Messiah by faith and the Lamb of God must be in our hearts. We must be eating the word of God daily! It is impossible for the human to live the perfect life. It is impossible for us to keep ourselves from dying. It is impossible for us to earn citizenship in Heaven. It is impossible for us fulfill the Law of God (keep the Ten Commandments) and it is impossible for us to change our spiritual nature as a sinner. Even the best saint is a sinner who is in need of God’s forgiveness of sin, which He provides through the precious shed blood of His Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. Even though God is a just God, He has made it possible for us to escape from judgment and come to Heaven. God has even called us to become His very own sons through receiving the heavenly gift of redemption that is secured in the precious innocent shed blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus said that the only way anyone can enter into Heaven is by being born again of the Spirit of God. (John 3:1-16) Do you see the picture? Just like you were born into this world and you are a citizen of this world, even so, you have to be born again of God’s Spirit to enter into God’s world called Heaven. The shed blood of Jesus made the new birth possible for us. This isn’t that hard to understand. Just like the male deposits a seed into a female and a baby is born, even so God deposits His seed of Truth into the womb of our hearts (just like He did with Christ into the virgin Mary) and we are born again of Him. Jesus becomes our wisdom, our righteousness, our sanctification and our redemption. (1 Corinthians 1:30) Spiritual things
are more real than natural things and they are eternal. Yet in the Bible, God uses natural things to reveal spiritual things to us. Natural birth is a clear picture of spiritual birth, is it not? The nature of the human is in the blood. Even so, the divine nature of Christ is in His blood. Whether you believe in Jesus or not, the precious blood of Christ affects you! God is going to hold you responsible for the way you responded to His wonderful gift of the precious shed blood of Christ.

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45)

God sent Jesus from Heaven to earth by virgin birth (Genesis 3:15) to become human to fuilfill the law of God and shed His innocent precious blood as a ransom for all men and this gift of mercy and divine justice is available to all who will believe on Him. (John 6:53) The blood of Jesus not only satisfies the divine justice of the Law of God and washes away our sins, but it also gives us the divine nature of Christ that brings us back unto God as though we never sinned and fits us for Heaven. We can only receive this precious gift of redemption from God by faith. Abram demonstrated this process of divine change as He became Abraham, the friend of God, by faith. (James 2:23-24) He was a Chaldean when he heard the call of God and responded with the obedience of Faith. (Romans 15:5) By obeying God, believing God, walking with God and cutting blood covenant with God, Abram became a Jew called Abraham and he is now the father of many nations just as God promised. Abraham is the first person in history who changed his race by faith. Abraham is God’s picture and example to us of how we are justified in His sight, how our spiritual nature changes by faith in God’s word and how we are made ready for Heaven through the obedience of faith. (Galatians 3:6, Romans 4:3, 17, James 2:23) Our spiritual nature is changed as we believe God’s words and are cleansed by the blood of Christ. God is still enlarging His heavenly family. That is the Secret of Eternity.

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Galatians 4:4-7)

This is the good news of the Bible. The shed Blood of Jesus satisfies God’s divine justice and cleanses our hearts of the sin nature when we believe the truth and put our trust in Him and our minds are washed by the water of the Word of God as we believe the truth. (Hebrews 10:22, 1 Peter 1:22, Ephesians 5:26) The blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse us of sin, to redeem us from Satan’s dominion, to save us from Satan’s powers of death, to deliver us from God’s judgment and penalty of Hell, to give us His divine nature and to bring us into Heaven, when we believe the truth. (Galatians 3:13) The Bible says nothing unclean (not cleansed by the blood of Jesus) shall enter into Heaven. (Revelation 12:11) The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph is the one true God of Heaven and He is also God of the whole earth. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was the line through which God brought forth Joseph who was the natural savior at that time. Joseph is God’s picture of Jesus to us, the spiritual savior that God promised to come. His name is Jehovah! He is the God of the whole earth and the universe and Jesus is His only begotten Son. God is a historical God. He doesn’t require that we do good works to earn Heaven like all the religions of the world that are designed by men, angels or demons. (Galatians 1:8-9) Heaven is God’s gift to us because He loves us. All God asks us to do is to trust in Him and believe in His only Son that He sent from Heaven to accomplish redemption for us. When we believe the truth of His redemption, it becomes our salvation. (Isaiah 12:2, Ephesians 2:8-9)

And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. (1 John 3:5)

Jesus’ blood wasn’t passed down to Him from Adam with the sin nature like all other humans. God created the blood of Jesus in Mary’s womb. In Him is no sin and His shed blood washes away our sins to make it possible for God to quicken us by His Spirit and give us the divine nature that is in His blood. God so loved us that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will be declared righteous in God’s sight and have eternal life. (John 3:15-16) Natural life is the gift of God through Adam and eternal life is the gift of God through the last Adam, the second man from Heaven, Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:47) The undeserved death of the most innocent man who has ever lived upon planet earth and died upon the cross is the worst historical event that has ever happened throughout the history of the world, yet it is the greatest historical event for all mankind. Men did their worst but God did His best! God sent Jesus from Heaven to earth to save us from Satan’s dominion and powers of death and to redeem us from God’s judgment of Hell. (John 3:16) The resurrection of Jesus from the dead for us “so we could live forever by Him,” was the most wonderful historical event that has ever been recorded throughout the history of man. Jesus was the Son of God and the king of Heaven! Jesus lived a perfect life to fulfill the Law of God for us. Then Jesus died a perfect undeserved death for us that we who believe might be ransomed, acquitted and declared righteous with His righteousness in the sight of God. Through death Jesus destroyed Him who has the power of death; that is the devil. (Hebrews 2:14) As our innocent substitute upon the cross, Jesus satisfied God’s divine justice and earned God’s mercy for us. When we believe in Christ, God declares us righteous in His sight and gives us His divine nature.

And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. (Hebrews 9:22)

The Law of the Ten Commandments were given by God to show what SIN is and to show us our guilt. The wages of SIN is death. God demonstrates all through the Old Testament how the penalty of breaking the Law of God is death and without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin and no relief from the death penalty. So as a child of Adam, we are all guilty of breaking God’s Law and the penalty of breaking the spiritual Law of God is death. Either we must shed our own blood and die in order for the sin nature to cease or someone who is innocent of sin, who has always obeyed God’s divine Law, must die in our place and give us His divine nature. In this way God’s divine justice is satisfied and His mercy is purchased towards us who believe. With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) God requires the shedding of blood for the death penalty to be paid and for the divine justice of the Law of God to be satisfied. Only when the blood is shed is the creature truly dead. That is what Jesus did for us. Jesus shed His innocent precious blood for us. Jesus satisfied God’s divine justice and purchased God’s mercy towards us forever. I can’t say that enough.

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:4)

This was God’s merciful way of delivering us from the punishment of the divine law and bringing us back unto Himself as His very own sons. Jesus died upon the cross as our substitute to take God’s just punishment towards us for all our evil deeds as sinners. Jesus conquered Satan’s powers of death and rose again from the dead to give us His divine nature of eternal life. God also expects us to overcome Satan’s strongholds of the corruption, the self-program of lusts and lies in our hearts by faith and to grow up spiritually in the divine nature of Christ. There is now a fountain in Heaven that is filled with the living blood of Jesus that washes the spirits of all those that believe in Him. Just as Jesus was our redeemer from our bondage to Satan, He is now our savior who brings us back unto God as though we have never sinned. As our eternal high priest He intercedes for us and works His divine nature into us to prepare us for eternal citizenship in Heaven. All our sins are now covered by the blood of Jesus. The most precious thing to us in the universe is the precious innocent shed blood of Jesus. The most precious thing unto God is our faith in the blood of Jesus that washes us white as snow. (Psalm 103:12

In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; (Ephesians 1:7)

The Truth is you are either separated unto God by faith in the precious Blood of Jesus or you are separated from God by unbelief in the precious Blood of Jesus. The life and spiritual nature of Christ is in His Blood. Through the blood of Jesus upon the heart of man, the believer is quickened by the spiritual powers of the world to come to experience a change of spiritual nature. The blood of Jesus provides many natural, spiritual and eternal benefits for the believer. Those who believe in Jesus have been sprinkled by God in their spirits with the precious blood of Christ. Just as the life of the flesh is in the blood on earth, even so the life and divine nature of Christ is in His blood. The spirits of all believers have been cleansed of Satan’s SIN nature of SELF by His blood to be made ready for intimate fellowship with God on earth. The precious sprinkled blood of Christ has made every believer ready for their entrance into Heaven at the appointed time. Jesus’ blood was shed for all men that they might live and not die forever.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:18)

The one true God is a historical God. He has documented the history of the world from the beginning to the end in His book called the Bible. Every generation throughout the centuries proves God’s word to be true. A man has historically risen from the dead. He is the only one who has conquered death and He did that on our behalf. God wants to open our eyes spiritually so He can bring us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9) God has made provision for every soul on planet earth,  but we alone are responsible to come to God by faith. We will either receive by faith or refuse God’s wonderful free gift through unbelief. The bottom line is the fact that our choice is really between this present evil world of darkness or God’s world called Heaven. Below I have listed 20 things that the blood of Jesus does for us.

20 Things the Blood of Jesus Does For Us

  1. The Blood of Jesus Brings Those Who Were Afar Off Near to God. (Acts 2:39, Ephesians 2:13, 37)
In the natural man, we live our whole lives in this valley of the shadow of death called earth without knowing God or realizing the presence of God. As a natural man, it is our spiritual nature to be our own gods, to do our own will, to go our own way and live for SELF. As far as the east is from the west so are we from God. However, God has made provision for us to come into His heavenly family forever. (Acts 26:18) Man shall not live by bread alone by by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4, Hebrews 4:12) God sent Jesus from Heaven to earth to fulfill the Law of God for you and die in your place as your substitute to take the punishment of death you deserved so He could bring multitudes of guilty sinners like me and you into Heaven that we don’t deserve. When we perceive the Truth through the words of Jesus, our eyes are opened and faith comes. (Romans 10:17) As we believe in Jesus, we become born again of His Spirit and begin to grow in His divine nature. (Acts 17:28) God is the heavenly Father of spirits and just like humans grow their families on earth, even so the heavenly father is enlarging His heavenly family with more Sons. (Galatians 4:4-5) We teach about this in our book; You Can Be a Son, Secret of Eternity.  As we learn to walk with God the Father by faith, He brings us near unto His presence so we can can walk in the Spirit with Him forever. (Hebrews 10:38-39) The innocent blood of Jesus was shed to make it possible for men to be redeemed, come back unto God in faith and receive an eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:12-15) The blood of Jesus is alive with His divine nature and it imparts the presence of God unto us. When God sprinkles our spirits with the blood of Jesus by Holy Spirit, we receive the witness (Hebrews11:4) that we are righteous before God in Christ. Now we can know (1 John 5:1) that we are born again of God and that we can walk with God all our lives. Do you have the witness in your heart? The Blood of Jesus speaks to our hearts better things than the blood of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24) We were afar off but now the blood of Jesus brings us near unto God. (Psalm 103:12, Ephesians 2:13, 2 Corinthians 6:17, James.4:7-10)

  2. The Blood of Jesus Grants Us the Forgiveness of Sins. (1 John 1:9, Acts 13:38)
When God forgives your sin, He doesn’t forget! He remembers that Jesus died in your place and paid the penalty for your sin. If you are a believer, when God looks at your spirit and sees the blood of Jesus, He sees no sin and He calls you righteous in His sight. God promised to cast our sins into the depths of the sea where nothing can exist (Micah 7:19) He promised He would remember our sins no more. (Hebrews. 8:12, 10:17). God fulfilled His promise to us in (Genesis 3:15) through Christ upon the cross. Jesus was innocent of sin and He died as our substitute upon the cross to take our death penalty and open the gates of Heaven for us. (2 Corinthians 5:21) The Bible says God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not counting against men their trespasses but canceling them (2 Corinthians 5:19). God has more respect for us who believe in His Son than He has anger towards them that are disobedient. As far as God is concerned, your sins are gone. Jesus has borne them away from us so we can come boldly unto God without any sense of fear, shame, guilt or blame in His sight. (1 Peter 2:24) When we believe in Jesus who became our substitute and took our punishment for sin, God sprinkles us with the blood of Christ and we are clean before God forever. What do you think about God forgiving you of all your sins forever through the righteous blood of Jesus? (Colossians 1:14, 2 Corinthians 5:19)

  3. The Blood of Jesus Remits Sins. (Luke 24:47)
Remission is greater than forgiveness. When God remits our sins, He not only forgives us but He treats us as though we never sinned. Through the Spirit of Christ in us, He begins His work of removing the SIN nature from us, which only God can do. He removes our sins immediately the moment we believe in Jesus Christ. He continues removing our sin nature of SELF from us day by day as we learn to live by Jesus, walk with Him in the light and depart from the ways of death. (Proverbs 14:12) He was our substitute in death and now He is our substitute in life as we learn to walk in fellowship with the heavenly father. (Galatians 2:20)  Our sins had to be forgiven and the spiritual nature of SIN itself had to be removed from us before we could have fellowship with God and become citizens of Heaven. Jesus said His blood was purposely shed for the remission of our sins. (Matthew 26:28) Forgiveness means God isn’t holding our sins against us. Remission means God has removed our sins and He now treats us with favor as though we never sinned when we believe. (Hebrews 8:12) God loves us as much as He loves Jesus. All we have to do to receive God’s gift of the redemption is to receive Jesus in our hearts and repent of the lifestyle of being our own gods to live life without God. This miraculous process of our spiritual change of nature happens when we turn to God with all our hearts and allow His participation in our lives by His Spirit. (Mark 1:4, Matthew 26:28, Acts 2:38, Psalms 103:12, Hebrews 9:22)

  4. The Blood of Jesus Redeems Us From Death (Matthew 26:28,)
The Bible teaches that we were children of the devil, (Ephesians 2:2) under the curse of Satan, (Galatians 3:13) slaves of sin, (Romans 6:16,17), in bondage to the world system, and destined for Hell. (Romans 12:2, 1 Corinthians 2:12) Through the blood of Jesus, God has supernaturally purchased us for Himself. (Titus 2:14, 2 Corinthians 5:19, Psalm 4:3) Jesus has paid the price to bring us back unto Himself where we can live in His presence again and become the Sons of God. (Matthew 20:28) The price that was paid was the sinless precious blood of the perfect man Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin. (1 Peter 1:18-20) God demonstrates in the book of Exodus that just like the people of Israel put the blood of the Lamb upon the doors of their homes and the death angel passed over them and God redeemed them out of bondage to Egypt, even so the blood of Jesus upon our hearts delivers us from the powers of death, from the kingdom of darkness and redeems us out of bondage to Satan’s rulers of the darkness of this world system. (Ephesians 1:7, 6:12, 1 Peter 1:18-19, Revelation 5:9)

  5. The Blood of Jesus Gives Life to Those Who Consume It. (Leviticus 16:11)
Not only does the blood of Jesus wash away our sins, but His blood imparts His divine nature of spiritual life. Jesus said we must eat His flesh and drink His blood or we have no life in us. (John 6:53) What is Jesus telling us? Living by Him, is how we eat His flesh. How do we eat His flesh, by walking in His ways, speaking His words and following His instructions in the word of God so that we can say, “It is no longer I that is living but Christ is living through me, Jesus did nothing without His heavenly father and the same becomes true us us as we live by Him. Our practice of coming unto God when we sin and being cleansing of His blood when we sin is how we drink His blood. Jesus said that we must hunger and thirst for righteousness, (Matthew 5:6) His blood not only cleanses us, but it also gives us His divine nature as we receive Him and live by Him. (John 6:35, 55) Just as blood gives us our natural life, even so the Blood of Jesus gives us our spiritual life. (Leviticus 17:11) The Blood of Jesus cleanses us to walk in God’s presence again. (1 John 1:9) The lifestyle of walking in the presence of God was lost in the Garden of Eden and Jesus came and demonstrated the life that is eternal through His walk with God. The blood of Jesus empowers the genuine heart that seeks God with the lifestyle of walking with God again, now and forever.

  6. The Blood of Jesus Cleanses Us From All Sin. (1 John 1:7, 9, Matthew 26:28)
The Blood of Jesus has supernatural power to cleanse us of our SIN nature of SELF and fills us with His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4) making us able to walk in the presence of God and fit to live in Heaven forever. That is the supernatural power of God. It isn’t our good works that makes us right with God and fit for Heaven, but faith in the word of Truth and in the cleansing blood of Jesus that makes us right with God. Every soul ever born into planet earth is either clean before God in the blood of Jesus or unclean before God without the blood of Jesus. (1 John 1:7) Have you been cleansed? Jesus died for you so you could be cleansed of sin and be made fit for Heaven. By His Word of Truth and His precious blood He washes away our sins. (Isaiah 1:16-18, Acts 22:16, Revelation 1:5, John 15:3) Just as our natural blood gives us our physical natural life, even so the blood of Jesus gives us our spiritual nature of life by God’s Spirit.

  7. The Blood of Jesus Sanctifies Us. (Hebrews 2:11)
God didn’t create all the souls of mankind to be their own gods, to live and die separated from Him. God created us to be in His heavenly family. By Adam sin entered the world and death passed upon all men because in Adam all have sinned. (1 Corinthians 15:22) Through the blood of Jesus, God sets us apart from death and cleanses us from the death nature. God sprinkles us with the blood of Jesus to make us clean in His sight. God then sets us apart unto Himself and makes us alive unto Him. When God sanctifies us, we become new creations in Christ, a new species of being that never existed before. God destroys the powers of death over us and gives us His divine nature so we can become like Him and walk in fellowship with Him. It is God’s great pleasure to make us His very own children through the new birth, to walk with us in our lives and then bring us to Heaven to live with Him forever. (2 Peter 1:8-11 Hebrews 13:12)

  8. The Blood of Jesus Justifies Us and Saves us From God’s Wrath. (Romans 5:9, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 5:9)
God has justified us through the blood of Christ. That means God treats me JUST-AS-IF-I’d never sinned. That means God himself saves us from death, declares us righteous in His sight and treats us like He treats His own Son. We were the children of wrath, (Romans 2:5) but God made provision for us through the precious blood of Christ to become His very own children. Jesus took our death penalty for us. Jesus bore God’s wrath towards us. Jesus rose again for us to become our life. When we believe in Jesus, God quickens us by His Spirit we and are saved from the wrath of God to come. (John 3:36) When God looks at our hearts and sees the royal seal of the blood of Jesus upon our hearts, He doesn’t see Sin in us, but He sees the Son in us. Just as they sprinkled the blood on the doors in the shape of a cross and the death angel passed over them when He saw the blood, even so when God sees the blood of Jesus upon your heart, He takes pleasure in saving you from the powers of death. (Romans 5:9, 1 (Thessalonians 5:9)

  9. The Blood of Jesus Causes Us to Dwell in Christ and He in Us. (John 6:54-58)
First God must put Christ in us to get the life in and then God forms Christ in us to get the death out. Through God’s putting us in Christ, we become alive unto God. Through God forming Christ in us, we become dead to sin, dead to Satan and our bondage to his present evil world system. (1 John 1:9). God is getting the death out of us and He is putting His life into us because nothing unclean is allowed into Heaven. The Blood of Jesus brings the very life and nature of Jesus into our hearts because the life of the Son of God is in His blood. Jesus’ Blood not only washes away our sins but it imparts to us His divine nature so we can walk with God now and forever in Heaven. (John 6:56 17:21-23) Are you ready to enter into heavenly Jerusalem of Heaven forever? (Revelations 21:27)

  10. The Blood of Jesus is the Means By Which Jesus Purchased the Church. (Acts 20:28)
The Church is the worldwide body of people who believe in Jesus. God created the universe to enlarge His heavenly family. We were created to be in God’s family. (Ephesians 1:4) Then we were separated from God’s family through the rebellion of Adam. Then the last Adam, Jesus Christ came, shed His innocent precious blood and died upon the cross for every human being. Jesus paid the price to make it possible for all humans to go to Heaven. (1 Peter 2:24) Now we can be born again into God’s family and while we’re in this world we can walk with God like our father Abraham did. (John 8:39-59) The blood of Jesus bought us for God and brought us back unto God. (2 Corinthians 5:19) The moment we believe in Jesus, the blood of Jesus sprinkles us and the Spirit of God quickens us and we receive the royal seal of God’s Kingdom. (Hebrews 12:24, Ephesians 4:30) Every spirit being in the universe can see the royal seal in our foreheads and when they see that seal they know that we belong to the Kingdom of Heaven. (Acts 20:28, Ephesians 3:14-19, Psalms 4:3)

  11. The Blood of Jesus Becomes Our Atonement When We Believe. (Romans 5:11)
The moment we believe in Jesus, His blood brings us into at-one-ment and makes us right with God and we begin our lifestyle of walking in fellowship with God and becoming one with Him. (Romans 5:11) The moment we first believe, God cleanses us with the precious blood of Jesus and we are justified (declared righteous) in His sight. This gives us the right and ability to come to God for all our needs and walk in fellowship with God, (Ephesians 3:12) Then God has the same respect towards us as He has towards His only begotten Son because He sees the Spirit of His Son in our hearts. (Hebrews 10:19) Our sins are gone and through Christ in us, God looks at us as though we have never sinned. (Romans 3:25 5:11)

  12. The Blood of Jesus Brings Peace and Reconciliation with God. (2 Corinthians 5:19-20)
As the progeny of Adam, we are born alienated and estranged from God. It is our spiritual nature to be our own gods, do our own will, go our own way, and live for SELF without any desire for God’s presence and without any regard towards how we affect other humans. We stand naked in our evil sin-nature of SELF before God without any hope. (Hebrews 4:13) But God who is rich in mercy, because He so loved us, has made provision for us to be forgiven of all our sins through the precious shed blood of Jesus so we can come back into His presence again and be treated like royal sons in the family of God. (Colossians 1:19-23, 2 Corinthians 5:17-19)

  13. The Blood of Jesus Has Obtained Eternal Redemption for Us. (Hebrews 9:12, Ephesians 1:7)
The Bible teaches that God was in Christ upon the cross, reconciling us unto Himself, not holding up and counting our sins against us, but canceling them. Not only has God removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west and this right standing with God that Christ has purchased for us, is eternal. (Hebrews 9:12-15) He has cast our sins behind His back (Isaiah 38:17) into the depths of the sea where nothing can exist. (Micah 7:19) He has promised that He will remember our sins no more. (Hebrews 10:17) God is a good God who has provided redemption for us through the precious shed blood of Jesus. (Hebrews 9:12) Through His redemption comes salvation. Without His redemption there can be no salvation. Do you know the difference between redemption and salvation? You must be redeemed before you can be saved. Think about that. You will learn the answer to that question and many more questions in our book “Secret of Redemption.”

  14. The Blood of Jesus Cleanses our Conscience from Dead Works to Serve the Living God. (Hebrews 9:14-16)
The Blood of Jesus is supernatural. The life-giving power of His blood not only removes from our conscience the guilt of the sins we have committed, but it removes our memory of them. The blood of Jesus removes the Self-tendencies of our need to do good works to please God. We do good things as we are led of the Spirit and while we rejoice in the good things that God is doing for us, we grieve when we fall, nevertheless we still turn to God and serve Him because we are His kids and He is our Heavenly Father and we love Him. (Romans 8:14-16) True believers always come back into the presence of God again for life and peace and fullness of joy. (Hebrews 6:1, 9:14)

  15. The Blood of Jesus is the Means By Which We Enter Into the Most Holy Place with Boldness. (Hebrews 4:16)
The way back into the presence of God is now open unto all who will believe in the supernatural surgery of he Operation of God through Jesus Christ upon the cross. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from every spot or wrinkle of any such thing, within and without, head to toe, spirit, soul and body. We can now come to God with boldness knowing that God has the same respect towards us that He has towards His own Son, Jesus Christ, through His precious blood. Now we can walk in the presence of God again and enjoy His favor, even forever, just like in the Garden of Eden. (Hebrews 10:19)

  16. The Blood of Jesus Speaks of Better Things Than the Blood of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24-26)
There is no record that Abel ever sinned. His only sin was the original sin of being born of Adam. He recognized His need for a savior that God promised his parents that He would provide. He learned from His parents that something with innocent blood must die that He might live. Abel respected God’s instructions and he came to God the right way, through the sacrifice of an innocent life that died in his stead. In this way Abel showed us his faith in the promise of God and God gave him an inner witness that he was righteous in His sight. When his brother Cain killed him, Abel was still alive and his blood was crying to God for justice. The blood of Jesus is better than the innocent blood of Abel because in Christ there is no sin and His blood is alive with the nature of God. Jesus’ blood cries out to God for mercy for us because Jesus purchased eternal life for us through His obedience to the Heavenly Father and the shedding of His innocent blood. Jesus never sinned and He walked in the presence of God all His life. As the Son of God He became the son of man to make it possible for us to become the sons of God through Christ in us. Jesus’ blood speaks the word “You can be a son.” Amen! (Hebrews 12:24)

  17. The Blood of Jesus Makes Us Complete for Every Good Work. (Hebrews 13:21, 2 Timothy 3:17)
The supernatural blood of Jesus is alive with the power of God. The blood of Jesus quickens us in our hearts so we can abide in Him and walk with God in the light and have fellowship with Him. Through the blood of Jesus, God sees us as perfect forever, even though we walk in these earthly physical bodies. We stand before God in Christ and we are complete in Him. (Colossians 2:10) The blood of Jesus purifies our consciences so we can accomplish the will of God, do the works of Jesus and exercise dominion over the devil. (Hebrews 13:20-21)

  18. The Blood of Jesus Bears Witness with the Water and the Spirit in the Earth. (1 John 5:8)
The Blood of Jesus cleanses us, spirit, soul and body. The words of God Jesus called water, cleanses our souls and the Spirit of God quickens the words of God and makes them alive so we can walk in the presence of God while we are in this world. All believers have a witness from the Holy one and we know we are born of Him, that God is with us and working through us to do the will of God. That inner witness shows us how to call upon God, how to walk with God, how God provides for us and how we are overcoming all things through Christ in us. (1 John 5:8) The words of God, the blood of God and the Spirit of God all bear witness to us within our hearts saying, YES and we say, AMEN. (2 Corinthians 1:20)

  19. The Blood of Jesus is the Means By Which Jesus Washes Us. (John 13:10-12, 1 Corinthians 6:11, Revelation 12:11)
Jesus is now our high priest who brings God to us and who brings us unto God and He washes us with His blood to cleanse us from all sin and from all filthiness of flesh and spirit so we can live by Jesus and do the will of God in the Spirit. Jesus cleanses us with the washing of the water of the word of God and He cleanses us with His own precious blood so we can walk in His presence. (Revelation 1:5, 7:14) And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (1Corinthians 6:11)

  20. The Blood of Jesus Empowers Us to Overcome the Devil Who Is Also the Accuser of the Brethren. (Revelation 12:11)
Through the Blood of Jesus we separate from the powers of the flesh, the world and the devil. We no longer listen to the voice of the stranger, Satan. We no longer follow the tendencies of sin or the traditions of the world. We no longer listen to the accusations of the devil against us, and we are no longer subject to the curse of the elements of this present evil world. The devil will accuse us of every wrong thought, every wrong word and deed of the flesh, but Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

We know the precious blood of Jesus covers us in the sight of God and we have peace. (Revelation 12:11)

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will: That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:5-14)

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:13-15)

Just like we take baths and showers to become clean of the elements of this natural world, even so we must be cleansed by God of the filthiness of the ways of death before we can enter into Heaven. God does this outwardly by His Spirit through the washing of the water of the word of God and inwardly by His Spirit through the sprinkling of the precious blood of Christ. God demonstrated these facts through the historical pictures that He provided us through the Tabernacle, the priesthood and the sacrifices in the Old Testament. All the Old Testament Pictures point us to Christ upon the cross as our redeemer. The innocent life of the animal was sacrificed as He became their substitute and the blood was shed for them to take away their death penalty. Then the blood and water was sprinkled upon the people and then upon the mercy seat and the lives of the people were spared to dwell with God again for another year. However, the blood of animals only purified the flesh but didn’t remove the sin nature or cleanse the conscience. (Hebrews 9:13-15) These pictures point us to the one that would come from Heaven and become our substitute and take our death penalty for us upon the cross so we could live forever, which was God’s original plan. When we come to God by faith, He sprinkles us with the water of the words of God and the precious blood of Jesus and we are clean in our hearts before God. (John 15:3, Hebrews 9:14) Thank God for the “precious blood of Christ,” the “sprinkled blood of Christ,” the “blood of the eternal covenant and the mercy of the living God. (1 Peter 1:19, Hebrews 12:24, Luke 22:20, Hebrews 13:20) The life that is eternal is imparted to us through the precious blood of Jesus (Leviticus 17:11)
