Here Comes Jesus

Behold, He cometh with clouds (of His people); and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen! (Revelation 1:7)

Jesus is coming! Amen! So be it! Very Soon He will be on His way! It’s very important that you get yourself ready for this very important and most wonderful event. Jesus thought it was so important that He gave us signs to watch for so we can make sure we are ready for Him when He comes. He said that if we aren’t ready, we will be left behind and with all believers in Christ gone, the whole world will be plunged into total spiritual darkness. His primary phrase was; Be Ready! Be Ready! If you aren’t ready you will be left behind. It is going to be a repeat of the Great Flood in Noah’s time, but instead of water covering the earth it will be fire. Whether we are dead or alive, we will all see Him, and we will all cry. We will either cry great tears of terror or great tears of eternal joy. In the last day, Satan’s defeat will finally be enforced, the dominion of the rulers of the darkness of this world will be forever destroyed and the Kingdom of God throughout eternity will begin. Jesus was kind enough to tell us what signs we should be looking for. The words of Jesus clearly describe our current day. He warns us to be ready because these things are going to happen fast, at a time we think not. (Matthew 24:44) Jesus doesn’t want us to perish because He loves us. Everything Jesus ever said has come to pass, is coming to pass and shall come to pass. Not one thing Jesus said has ever been proven to be false. If you care for our soul and your eternal destiny, take a look at some of the signs of the times. Jesus has never been proven wrong Yet!

Signs of the Times!

And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (Matthew 24:3)

So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place? And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn  near.’ Therefore do not go after them. But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately. (Luke 21:7-9)

Time is only a window in eternity. One way or another, eventually time is going to come to an end and then eternity will begin. Jesus gave us many signs of the times to look for in order to discern the end of time as we know it. Don’t get me wrong! This blog isn’t designed to be a PHD of end time prophecy. It is designed to plant a spiritual seed and wake people up to what is really going on in the Spirit realm during our lifetime. Out of control humanity, is one of the signs of the soon return of Christ. I grew up in a generation that was more normal in regards to human behavior. Sure their were people who were exceptions but there was a normalcy of attitudes to a great degree because families were as broken as they are today. When I was a kid, my parents and grandparents taught me to have respect, common sense and good manners and in my community that seemed to be the case. That was back in the 1960’s and 1970’s. I think the United States was able to function as country with laws that kept human behavior in a realm of normalcy. But in our current generation, the laws are getting thrown in the trash and we are seeing the signs Jesus talked about that hint to us that we are in the last days. Nothing is normal anymore. Multitudes of people don’t want normal, but they would rather depart from what is normal to discover the spiritual treasures of darkness so they can walk in the all new and improved adventures of the ways of death. The Bible says it is going to get a thousand times worse. (Proverbs 14:12) .

Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives, and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But not a hair of your head shall be lost. By your patience possess your souls. (Luke 21:10-19)

Ok, I see nations rising against other nations. I see kingdoms trying to take the territories of other kingdoms. I see earthquakes and famines and pestilences taking place regularly. This is not good! We are seeing the rise of persecution like never before. People are hating Christians without even knowing why. The emphasis of these signs of the last days is that things are getting out of control. It was bad in Jesus’ day. It was bad enough in the days of Rome that they crucified the perfect man like it was no big thing. times are changing and eventually Time as we know it, is going to come to an end! Jesus said that when we see these things, we need to realize that the end is near. (1 Peter 4:7) While the world is changing and bearing the greatest fruits of evil, some of the things we are teaching in our churches and Bible Schools needs to be changing also. These are the last days and we who know the Truth need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be led of the Spirit so they can walk in the light of eternity. (Ephesians 5:17-21, Psalm 90:12. John 12:35-36)

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholyWithout natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lustsEver learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived (1 Timothy 3:1-13)

Wow, what a mess! These are not my words. They are the words of the B.I.B.L.E. and they are precise and accurate. As you can see, the Bible gives a very good description of our current generation. There is no normal anymore. Some people can’t even tell if they are male or female. The truth is; SELF knows no boundaries and respects no limits. The natural man lives for self and nobody else and laws are just a figment of his imagination. According to these signs in the Bible, we are in the last days! Perilous times are here and it is going to get worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. Deception is the major theme of this passage of scripture. Don’t be deceived! (Galatians 6:7) To be specific, the last days began when Jesus died upon the cross and the end of days are upon us now, and at a time you think not; which is soon; “Here Comes Jesus,” and then eternity will begin. (Matthew 24:44) In Jesus’ day, Rome itself was a terrible time under the rulers of the darkness of this world, a picture of what is coming again. This world has always shown the historical pattern of getting worse and worse until God has to supernaturally intervene to stop the damage. (2 Peter 3:6-7) After the historical resurrection of Christ, God raised up the Church and Bible believing countries which altered the balance of wickedness for a time and prolonged the last days, but perilous times are now here. The nature of man is so selfish like in the days of a Noah, that even many believers in the Bible fail to see the power of God in their lives, not having learned how to walk in the Spirit by faith. Jesus historically rose from the dead and gave us the signs of the last days, and everything Jesus ever said has either come to pass or is coming to pass. With our planet in agony and a world system out of control and many wicked nations feeling like they can be free to do whatever they want no matter how it affects other countries; it clearly appears that we are now seeing the signs of the times that tell us we are in the last days.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. (Romans 8:18-22)

God shows us in the Bible that He has big things planned for us who are believers that have been born again of the Spirit into His heavenly family. (Ephesians 3:15) The Bible says that the whole creation is groaning in travail as we wait for the time when the glory of God shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:22) We are hoping for it to come as soon as possible but God is doing everything in His time. Things are going to get worse before they get better. But this great event of the quickening is going to happen quicker than we think. As the controller of eternity, God is the master of Time. He knows the exact day, the time, the moment and the second, when Jesus will come back, and His glory shall be revealed in all believers.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24:44)

Just like David cut off the head of Goliath, even so through death, Jesus has crushed Satan’s headship of dominion over planet earth (Luke 4:6) and has destroyed his powers of death over man. Jesus has taken back the dominion that Adam lost to Satan in the Garden of Eden and as we believe ourselves into Christ, Satan’s dominion is rendered ineffective and inoperative in our lives. History will end with Jesus coming again to enforce His dominion over the rulers of the darkness of this world and Satan’s powers of death over mankind. He will then set up His Kingdom which shall last forever. Then in a split second, the quickening will take place by the power of God. All believers will be quickened by the Spirit of God and instantly depart from this world. There will be a lot of people missing, which will dumbfound the world. That moment of the most glorious event is called “the Rapture.” The time of the Gentiles is going to grow on us until it blooms into the final historic event of God’s people being caught up to be with the Lord in Heaven and for them eternity will begin. (1 Thessalonians 3:17, 1 John 3:2) The wicked that are left on planet earth will see the final overthrow of the rulers of the darkness of this world and in all their suffering they will wish they were never born. The Bible has never been proven wrong, whether it be science, geography or history, so there is no reason to doubt the Bible here concerning end time events.

The Parable of the Fig Tree

Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. (Luke 21:9-33)

In this passage of scripture, Jesus likens this wonderful historic event of His return to a developing, growing, blossoming fig tree, which is the symbol of Israel. Basically the world is going to continue on its course of wickedness until it is ripe for destruction. The fig tree is growing and budding and the blossoms are now blooming, and the fruit is His coming to earth to save believers from destruction and to destroy every enemy of God. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death itself. That is what it is going to be like when Jesus returns, and He will return. Jesus warns us to to be ready and know that when we see these things begin to happen, we should look up towards Heaven because the fulfillment of our redemption is drawing near. (Luke 21:28) I believe now in 2024, we are seeing these things beginning to bud from prophecy into History. It really is His-story! The Kingdom of God is near!

Signs of The Destruction of Jerusalem

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (Luke 21:20-24)

I believe we are seeing the times of the Gentiles taking place right now. The armies are beginning to surround Jerusalem and their goal is to trample Jerusalem. Another sign is the fact that humans are getting to the place where they are without natural affection and are lovers of selves rather than God.

Signs of The Last Days

[1] This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
[2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
[4] Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
[5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
[6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
[7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[8] Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
[9] But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
[10] But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
[11] Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
[12] Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
[13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
[14] But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
[17] That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:1-17)

These are 17 signs of the times in the Bible that are blooming like a fig tree during our generation. You can see the blossoms of evil blooming right now. We are seeing the spiritual nature of humanity blooming into greater layers of wickedness like in the days of Noah. (Matthew 13:37-39) People will even knowingly believe lies to make their agenda happen. A good example is people actually believing that men can have babies without a womb. Science has proven that to be impossible but people will believe and teach that to make their agenda happen. In our current day, people are so ignorant they are even surprised when a baby appears after intercourse. I once knew a woman that refused to believe she was pregnant even after seeing a doctor with a bump in her belly because as she said; “We only did it once!” Once is all it takes to have a baby. The wickedness of the flesh deceives people so greatly that they willingly believe lies and declare delusions even against their conscience. Why is that? The Bible says this happens because they are people of corrupt mindsreprobate concerning faith. These wicked people will even stand against racism, yet they will persecute believers in Christ even without knowing why because of the love of self and the hatred of God in their hearts. The headlines in the news these days are made up of nothing but deceitful hints, foolish agendas, lusts and lies and alibis. It is almost as if people want to just see how far they can go without getting in trouble. The bad news gets worse and worse in every generation, but the Bible gives us the Good News that Jesus is coming again.

Signs of The Coming of the Son of Man

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:25-28)

We are seeing the scientific signs in the universe and the distress of nations with perplexity. The things that are coming on the earth is getting scary.

Signs of The Ends of the World

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. (Corinthians 1:11-13)

So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. (Hebrews 9:28)

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. (John 14:3)

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24:44)

The world as we know it is going to come to an end and it will happen quicker and sooner than you think. The agents of apocalypse are working in the world to set these things in motion. I highly recommend Dr. Jeremiah’s end time series called Agents of Apocalypse”. The whole planet we call earth is groaning in travail for the birth pangs of the day when God’s glory will be manifested in the Sons of God and planet earth will come back under the dominion of the Kingdom of Heaven once again. (Romans 8:18-25) The Bible says that we are in the last days and the ends of the world is now coming upon us. The good news is “Jesus is alive!” He has historically risen from the dead and He now sits at the right hand of the Heavenly Father interceding for you and me. When the time comes that He must return to earth to enforce His dominion and set up His eternal kingdom, we must be ready. Everything Jesus ever said either came to pass, is coming to pass and is going to come to pass! Jesus said we must be ready when He comes. Those of us that are ready and eagerly awaiting for Him will be caught up together with Him while the world morns. (1 Thessalonians 4:17) We who are eagerly awaiting for Him to return shall go into the marriage supper of the Lamb and we will be with Christ forever. Those that aren’t ready will be left behind and they are going to wail weep and morn. Here is what Jesus says;

The Importance of Watching

“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)

Build Your House Upon the Rock

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for . But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall. And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. (Matthew 7:24-29)

For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spiritwithin you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. (Ezekiel 36:24-28)

Just like we punish evil doers in our world, even so God is a just God and He punishes SIN. The wages of SIN is death. Jesus never sinned so His death was unjust. Upon the cross Jesus voluntarily became your substitute and took the punishment that belonged unto you as a sinner so He could redeem you from Satan’s curse of dominion and powers of death. By taking your sins and by dying the death that belonged unto you, God was able to put all your sins upon Christ and declare you righteous in His sight as a believer in Chritst, which will activate in your heart the moment you believe in Him. (John 3:15-16) That is redemption. Now when you believe in Christ, God acquits you of all guilt in His sight. The just man Jesus laid down his life for the unjust. He took it up again for all believers so they can now live by His Spirit. Jesus has risen from the dead having destroyed Satan’s powers of death over all mankind and now He offers you eternal life as you call upon Him and believe in Him. It only becomes yours when you ask Him for it of your own free will, with all your heart. Jesus becomes your King and you become a citizen of Heaven with an eternal inheritance that has been laid up for you. (1 Peter 1:4) He came once as the Lamb of God who was our suffering redeemer and now He reigns over you as your blessed Savior. Soon He will come again as the Lion of the tribe of Judah and He will set up His kingdom as the King of Kings and His reign shall have no end..

Here Comes Jesus
First Watch: “I Know You Not!”

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

Jesus is going to come twice, once for believers and once for unbelievers. The first watch is for the time when Jesus comes for His people. In that day He will miraculously snatches all believers who are His people out of this world to keep them from the evil that is coming upon the world and He will take into His world to be with Him forever. Then there will be a great event that takes place in Heaven called the Supper of the Lamb. That is the period of seven years that Jesus spends with His bride, the church of all true believers in the world.” This period of time will last seven years and during this time there will be Hell on earth because the Beast knows that his time is short. Seven years after that wonderful event of Jesus’ honeymoon, the second return of Christ will take place. The whole world that is still left on earth will see Jesus coming from Heaven as the King of kings, to set up His kingdom which will be forever. (Isaiah 9:7)

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward also came the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 25:1-14)

This passage of scripture speaks to me of two groups of humanity, the foolish virgins and the wise virgins. God considers all humans to be virgins in His sight. God loves us as though we have never sinned because God put all our sins upon Jesus, who shed His precious blood to pay our death penalty to provide eternal redemption for every soul ever born of Adam. God treats those who walk by faith as though they have never sinned and when they do sin and they confess their sin, God cleanses them from sin by His Spirit with the precious blood of Jesus so that they remain clean in His sight. (Ephesians 1:7, Romans 3:25) That is another glorious teaching that I won’t go into detail about in this blog. Jesus is the bridegroom, and He is coming back for a chaste bride, the church, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. (Ephesians 5:27) So what is the difference between the wise virgins that went in with the bridegroom and the foolish virgins who missed out? The wise virgins were ready, and the proof was that their lamps were filled with oil. The foolish virgins weren’t ready, and the proof was that their lamps had no oil. In the Bible, the oil is symbolic of our intimacy with Christ through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We can’t see the things of God without the oil of the Holy Spirit that fuels the glowing passion of our hearts to see the things of the truth of God. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth and He shows us things to come. (John 8:12, 16:12-16)

The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the heart. (Proverbs 20:27)

Jesus said we must have oil in our lamps when He appears in order for us to go into the supper of the Lamb. What does He mean? I believe He is teaching us about the condition of our hearts. In this parable, I believe our bodies are the lamps, our spirits are the candle in the lamps and our souls are the wicks in our candles. But we must regularly trim the burned out wicks of our souls daily or there won’t be enough light of truth generated in our hearts by the oil of His Spirit to see Him when He comes again. We can’t see the things that God is doing in us and arranging for us in this world of darkness without the oil of the Holy Spirit shining the light of Truth in our hearts. We must keep our oil levels full, and our wicks trimmed. If the oil isn’t in our lamp there will be no light. If our wicks are not trimmed properly, the light will go out. Do you get it? When the human comes to Christ with all their hearts, Jesus lights the wick of his soul so the light of truth can shine into his heart and spirit. We must trim the wicks (of our flesh nature) regularly through prayer and confession of sin as we walk with God by faith. We must keep oil in our lamps (the presence of His Spirit) to see the light of truth or our lamps will go out. (Psalm 119:105) The wise virgins with oil in their lamps walked intimately with the Lord in their hearts and were wise enough to invest their time growing up spiritually and being led of the Holy Spirit. They prepared for the wedding and went into Heaven to be with Jesus forever. The foolish virgins without oil in their lamps missed their moment in glory. They didn’t invest time to allow the Holy Spirit to enlighten them and guide them into all truth. They were not intimate with the Lord. Those people who are serious about loving Jesus and pleasing Him, are allowing the Holy Spirit to guide them into all truth. They can see spiritual things because they have the oil of the Spirit that enlightens their soul to give them understanding so they can walk by faith and not by sight. Those people who only go to church to get their needs met rather than to love Jesus and meet the Lord’s needs, and His family of believers, may not truly understand truth nor walk by faith. Their spiritual eyes are still closed to spiritual things. It’s a similar kind of difference as it was with Cain and Abel. Cain did good works but He wasn’t into the things of God. Abel was so intimate with God that his blood cried out to God from the ground. Do you love learning the truth of God? Have you been allowing God’s Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth, to show you things to come, to bear witness of Christ in you? Have you been spending intimate moments in prayer with Jesus? The foolish virgins without the oil did good deeds, but they didn’t have an intimate relationship with Jesus as their Lord.

Here Comes Jesus
Second Watch: “I Never Knew You!”

Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23)

During the second watch, Jesus will return with His people to set up His kingdom and we who come back with Him will reign with Him for 1000 years. This is another level of teaching that I won’t go into in this blog, but you can find many courses on end time prophecy. One of my favorites which I consider to be more complete and exhaustive is published by Dr. David Jeremiah. This watch speaks of unbelievers who work iniquity and of others who think they are good people, but they aren’t really believers in the truth that walk with God by faith. They did good works like Cain, but they never got intimate with Jesus in their hearts like Abel. Jesus said to them, “I never knew you. Do you know Jesus? Does Jesus know you? If not then you are in danger of losing your soul forever. God sees all believers in Christ as virgins who are righteous in His sight. Why is that? Jesus has taken our place before a just God. He was born of a virgin without sin and throughout His whole life He was innocent of sin. (John 8:46, 1 Peter 2:22-25) Jesus fulfilled the Law of God in His behavior so His death was unjust. Yet He laid down His life unto death for us and as our substitute, He gave Himself over to the death penalty and divine judgment that belonged to us. As far as God is concerned we are all as clean as chaste virgins in His sight, but the bride of Christ is the true worldwide church of Christ who believe in Jesus, love Jesus and support His ministry on earth. Through death, burial and resurrection, Jesus satisfied God’s divine justice and purchased God’s mercy for us. The Bible calls that Redemption. Through His resurrection He gives us the new life of His divine nature in our spirits, which is eternal. That is called Salvation. Jesus has conformed unto the justice system in Heaven where sin is not allowed. Jesus fulfilled the Law of God (the Ten Commandments) on our behalf and bore away our sins from us so God can count us righteous in His sight. Jesus redeemed us from Satan’s curse of death and from the the wrath of God. Then God raised Jesus from the dead as our messiah. Yet, redemption doesn’t become our salvation until we believe the truth in our hearts. When we believe in Christ and His redemption, God sees our sins are gone and that our faith is in Christ, so He counts us righteous with the righteousness of Christ. Then He gives us the witness of the Holy Spirit so that we know we belong to Him and that we are safe forever. God responds to our faith in Christ and He gives all true believers eternal life.

In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; (Ephesians 1:7)

His Redemption becomes our Salvation when we believe the truth and put our trust in Him. Then God fills our spirits with His Spirit. It is the lifestyle of believing in God, walking with God and having fellowship with God just like Adam did in the Garden of Eden. That is called Salvation. Jesus has become one with us so we might become one with Him just like two become one by divine design through marriage. Jesus is coming back for His bride, “the people of God.” That is when all true believers in Christ will be caught up to meet Him in the air and we shall go into the supper of the Lamb for seven years and then the Bridegroom shall return with His bride to set down all rule and authority on the earth. The foolish virgins with no oil failed to go into the the supper of the Lamb.

Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (1 Corinthians 15:24-28)

What was the difference in the ones Jesus said, “I know you not,” and “I never knew you?” Is there a difference? I think there is! To me the phrase, “I know you not,” means; “I have no intimacy of fellowship with you” and the phrase; “I never knew you” means Jesus never did have any real relationship with you at all, even though you did good things. What was the difference between those who had lamps with no oil and those who had lamps with oil? Throughout the Bible, the Oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. When we pray in the Spirit, we are filling our lamps with oil that generates the light of truth so we might know Christ in us and walk in the truth. When we obey the word of God, the Spirit guides us into all truth so that our souls are filled with the light of truth.

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn-bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Matthew 7:15-20)

Be Ready!

These are the only two words that sound the alarm of eternity. Jesus said you have to be ready when He comes or all shall be lost. We won’t have time then to figure out what we believe. What happens during the second return of Jesus it the putting down of His eternal authority on planet earth and cleansing the world of those that are evil in His sight. Jesus describes this wonderful event as follows;

And Jesus went out and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand🙂 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the good-man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when He cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That He shall make Him ruler over all His goods. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth His coming; And shall begin to smite his fellow-servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 24:1-51)

Jesus commanded us to be on guard and eagerly await for Him because we don’t know when He is going to come. Just like He came the first time, so shall He come again to take all believers unto Himself, and we shall ever be with the Lord. Every word Jesus has ever spoken has either come to pass or is coming to pass. Jesus’ words have never been proven wrong. That is because as the Bible calls Him, He is  the “word of God.” Jesus only speaks the words of God. Now you know that God loves you and He sent Jesus to save you from certain death and to give you eternal life. Jesus loves you and He wants to see you in Heaven. There will come a time when those who deny the goodness of God and refuse to receive the eternal gift of God through the Messiah Jesus Christ will wish they were never born.

Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird Himself and have them sit down to eat and will come and serve them. And if He should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Then Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people? And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master’s will and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. Andthat servant who knew his master’s will and did not prepare himself or do according to His will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. (Luke 12:35-48)

Cry out to Jesus with all your heart and He will answer you and show you great and mighty things you know not. (Jeremiah 33:3) You are a spirit; you have a soul and you live in a physical body. When your body dies, your spirit and soul go to their eternal home. Those who have believed in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven with Him. Get your house in order because you know not when that day comes. (Matthew 24:36)

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:10-12)

The Holy War between Jesus and the devil is finished, God’s Blood Covenant Promise has been fulfilled and our Redemption has been accomplished, but our Salvation has just begun and our eternal inheritance is drawing near. Jesus has conquered Satan’s powers of death of death for us and the final battle for the  dominion over planet earth and the human race will be over soon. The devil is very real, but if you have prayed unto God with all your heart, he is no longer your spiritual father. God is the Heavenly father. He is saving us from all the powers of the enemy, and He wants to save you from the things that are coming upon the earth. The devil roams all over the world like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8) The Bible commands us to fight the good fight of faith and to those of us that overcome the enemy of our souls through Christ in us, God promises great reward. (1 Timothy 6:12, Revelation 3:21)

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. (1 John 4:17)

God is calling you to walk by fiath and tread on the devil’s head until he’s dead. (Romans 16:20) Jesus has conquered Satan’s powers of death for us. (John 16:33, Matthew 16:18) All things are now under His feet. (Revelation 1:18) He is now the head and we are His body and the anointing of the head flows down upon the whole body of Chrits onto His feet. (Epehsians 1:22-23) Every soldier of the Lord should understand what is going on in planet earth and be wearing the whole armor of God. (Ephesians 6:11-18) Every day we live in this world, God expects us to be on guard against Satan our enemy who is the great deceiver and destroyer. (Luke 10:19) That is what Adam failed to do. You should be aware that the devil has many things planned for your life. Without God you will die in your sins and be lost forever. Without God you will remain limited to your own devices. But we must know that God is God and He will always be God. It is He who has made us and not we ourselves. (Psalm 100:3) Whatever you accomplish in this life and no matter how rich or famous you are, without returning to God all will be lost. (Psalm 100:3) What can a man give in exchange for his soul?

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:34-38)

The only thing we can give in exchange for our soul is our TIME invested in our hearts. You only have so much time on planet earth and you would be very wise to spend it wisely and invest your heart into eternity. Your lamp should be burning and shining light to see Him when He comes. The devil is very real, but if you will pray unto God with all your heart, He will become your new spiritual father and the devil will be no match for you as you walk with God by faith. The devil will threaten you and the world will hate you, but you will continue to walk by faith and grow up into a son of God through Christ in you. You will begin to see a change in your spiritual nature and realize that the Spirit of Christ is in you now. God is your Heavenly father, and He wants to save you from the things that are coming upon the earth.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24;44)

Just as there was a beginning, even so there will be an end. When we die, that is the end of our time on earth. Then we pass into another state of being that is the result of our faith-life on earth. If we have believed in Jesus, then as He is, so are we. forever. He will come suddenly, and God says we must be ready.

Wherefore Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch not the unclean thing; And I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, And ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me. (John 6:37-38)

Your heart knows that the one true God of Heaven and earth is the real God, and your heart will never be satisfied until it knows that God loves you and that you are safe forever because of the goodness of Jesus Christ. If you have prayed that prayer, you have saved your soul. God has quickened you by His Spirit and He will reveal truth for eternity unto you. As you learn of Him you will see that your spiritual nature has changed. You will also notice that there is an inward witness in your spirit guiding you with a yes and no tendency. (1 John 2:20) Then He will teach you how to grow up spiritually, how to walk in His dominion and how to conquer your spiritual enemies by faith through the Spirit of Christ in you(Romans 8:37, 12:21, John 16:33)  Amen.

Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: (Galatians 1:4)

God wants to save you and the only thing you can do to make that possible is to believe God, who wants to bring you into Heaven forever. Just open your arms wide like Jesus did upon the bloody Cross and pray to God with all your heart right now and you will destroy the curse of all the spiritual enemies that have ruled over you all your life. God wants to save you and bring you to Heaven. That is why He created you.

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:8-13)

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things. (1 Corinthians 9:24)

I have just presented some of the spiritual issues that show how we must be ready for Jesus when He comes again. We all have suffered under Satan’s dominion and need God’s supernatural intervention to be saved. God wants you to live and not die, to win and to grow up into Christ. God has made provision for you to overcome all things for His glory. God has provided Jesus Christ as the messiah to be our redeemer and savior. through death He has destroyed Satan’s powers of death over us. (Hebrews 2:14) We are all called of God to walk with Him and destroy our spiritual enemies for His glory.

God created all of us, He has redeemed all of us, and God also wants to save all of us, but we must receive His redemption and apply it to our hearts like medicine. (Proverbs 4:22) God’s redemption doesn’t become your salvation until you receive His wonderful gift of Christ into your heart by faith. He will quicken you by His Spirit right now if you will pray unto Him with all your heart. It may feel strange praying for the first time, but God will hear your words and He will take you at your word. If you invite Jesus Christ, into your heart, He will quicken you in your heart and put His Spirit in your heart and you will become a new creature who is a brand new citizen of Heaven forever. God is still enlarging His heavenly family with more Sons. That is the Secret of Eternity. If you haven’t prayed unto God yet, do that NowWhether Jesus comes decades from now or you die tomorrow, you will see Him all too soon. Today could be your last day on earth. (James 4:14) Now is the day of Salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2) If you will pray with all your heart, God will hear your voice, quicken you by His Spirit and receive you as His very own child. He will write your name in the Lamb’s book of Life and walk with you for the rest of your life. He will promote you and grow you up into His very own son and give you an eternal inheritance that is reserved for you in Heaven. (1 Peter 1:4) Jesus has paid the price for you to come to Heaven forever. (Mark 8:36-37) Give God your heart and He will give you back your soul. Just pray to God with all your heart right now. You might say words like these;

Heavenly Father, I come to you with all my heart. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins and quicken me by your Spirit with the divine nature of Christ. I am a sinner, but I now give you my heart and ask you to save me from the powers of death in Jesus name. I ask you to be my God and receive me as your very own child. Jesus come into my heart and give me eternal life. I believe you died for me on the cross to accomplish redemption for me and bring me unto God. I believe you have risen from the dead and that you quicken me by your Spirit and give me new life. Heavenly father, I believe you make me a new creature in Christ Jesus and that you make all things new and reveal truth for eternity unto me. Quicken me now by your Spirit, In Jesus name I ask.

These words are just an example of how to pray. Whatever you say unto God with all your heart, God will hear your voice and He will answer you. (Galatians 4:6, 1 John 2:20, 27) God will reveal Himself to you personally and you will know that God is real, that He loves you and that you are safe forever. (Hebrews 12:9) If you have prayed unto God, then the devil, that roaring lion that pounced upon your spirit at your birth, you have torn to pieces with your bare heart.

Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning, and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. (Revelation 1:7-8)

If you have prayed unto God with all your heart, you now belong unto the Lord and by praying with your heart you have received His Spirit and you are in His spiritual family. You have passed from death to life. (Ephesians 3:15, 1 John 5:19) As the redeemed of the Lord, you have the authority of His name to exercise dominion over every enemy of God. Any mountain that stands in your way, learn to come against it, speaking the words of God in the name of Jesus. All authority in Heaven and earth is in His name. Speak to every enemy and every mountain that stands between you and God and believe that the things you are speaking will come to pass. (Mark 11:23-24)

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:39)

God is in the soul saving business. When you believe in Christ and give Him your heart, He merges His Spirit into your spirit so that you are one with Him. Then you can say, “Now it is no longer I that lives but Christ who lives in me.” (Galatians 2:20) He will guide you into all truth by His Spirit: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. (John 16:13) Learn to hear His voice in your heart rather than the voice of those lusts that are in your soul. God loves you and He will redeem your life from destruction. (Psalm 103:4-5) Just like every father and son relationship, God is the father of spirits, and He is bringing many sons unto glory. (Hebrews 12:9) God is saving us so we might fulfill His love and that we might love Him and glorify Him forever. (Hebrews 2:10, 12:9) When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon you mightily like He came mightily upon Samson and King David, you will leap and jump for joy praising God for the victory. You will grow up into Christ in all things and begin to exercise dominion over the devil in Jesus’ name like Adam should have done. (Luke 10:19)

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

No matter what happens, even though you can’t see Him with your eyes, the Spirit of God is with you as a believer, and He will empower you to overcome all things. (Romans 12:21) Talk to God out loud and expect Him to talk back unto you in your spirit. Glorify God in your body and in your Spirit with joy unspeakable and full of glory. (1 Peter 1:7-9, 1 Corinthians 6:12) Time is short and the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:14-15) The Bible says, “Whosever believes in Him shall not be ashamed.”(Romans 10:11-14) Lastly, Be Ready because He will come at a time when you think not!
