What is the meaning of life? What is the purpose of the creation of the universe? Why was I born? Who am I? Why am I here on planet earth? How do I discover my true purpose and understand who I really am? What happens when we die? What is my eternal destiny? Why am I ignorant of this most important truth? It almost seems as if it’s being hidden from me. (Psalm 8:4-6) Why does it almost feel like a secret? It is a secret! It’s the Secret of Eternity! If you have having those thoughts, you have joined the Truth Seekers club. Welcome to the club! You are in great company! What you are looking for is the Secret of Eternity, the mirror of Truth. The Truth of life and death is the treasure that will reward you above measure forever as you learn what God is doing in planet earth and what He has done for you that will last forever. The first truth you will learn is that the Secret of Eternity IS being HIDDEN from you, but it isn’t God that is hiding it from you. Here is what the Bible has to say about the Secret of Eternity you are searching for that will give you some clues and hopefully open your eyes to behold the things which are not seen.
But if our gospel (good news) be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom THE GOD OF THIS WORLD has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything kept secret, but that it should come abroad. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. (Mark 4:22-23)
The Truth of eternity is being hid from those that are lost. In this natural world, we all get lost at times. In the spiritual realm, we are born lost, but when the heart of the lost soul cries out to God, that is when God comes to his rescue to set his feet upon solid ground and get him going back in the right direction towards his final destination, which is Heaven. The Bible says that God isn’t willing that anyone should perish. He has made provision for every soul ever born to not perish. (2 Peter 3:9) We are supposed to end up in Heaven, yet the Bible says “few will be saved.”(Luke 13:23-24) If you think you are here on planet earth just to have a good time, make a few bucks, pay a few bills and just have fun until you die, then you are truly lost. Why are we lost? It is because the god of this world has blinded the eyes of our hearts by his see and be seen, be your own god, live for self-program. Who is the god of this world? The Bible says that Satan is the god of this world. (John 14:30-31) How is this possible? It is the result of a foolish decision by the first man Adam. (Mark 8:36) It is our spiritual inheritance in Adam to walk in his spiritual nature of being your own god, doing your own will, going your own way and living for self, which makes us unfit for Heaven. Yet God has made provision for us to settle His divine justice towards us by shedding the innocent blood of Jesus as payment for our sins. His innocent shed blood on the cross for us settles all accounts of our sins before a just and merciful God. That is part of the secret of eternity that we can only learn about in the Bible. You are only going to be here on planet earth for a little while and then you are going to pass over into your eternal home forever. (Mark 8:36-37)
And so, it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (1 Corinthians 15:45-53)
This divine riddle of the two spiritual men, Adam and Christ, and the inheritance they provide for all their progeny, should be one of the first lessons we learn from the Bible. If you can understand this foundational concept, you can understand the whole Bible. Before you can build a house you must lay the foundation or the house will fall. Even so, this concept of the Two Men is part of the foundation of understanding the Bible revelation of truth. We are all born of Adam and as his progeny we are all earthy and sinful by nature. (Acts 17:26) In the spiritual nature of Adam, we all die. (1 Corinthians 15:22) This was never a part of God’s original plan. Death is an enemy of God and man. God created Adam as the head of the human race for the purpose of enlarging His heavenly family that He could love forever. God gave Adam dominion over all of the creation. Through Adam’s rebellion against God and his submission to Satan, Adam transferred his God given dominion to the devil, which made Satan the God of this world and Adam a partaker of Satan’s spiritual nature of SELF. (2 Corinthians 4:4) The world system in planet earth is now under the dominion of the rulers of the darkness of this world, headed by Satan. (Luke 4:6) They are the principalities and powers of Satan and his group of fellow rebel angels and demonic spirits. (Ephesians 6:12) The more you know about the god of this world, the better off you will be because he is the one that brought the powers of death into the human race. Death didn’t come from God. The spiritual nature of Satan’s Self-program of SIN causes the human to want to be his own god, do his own will, go his own way and live for self through the spirit of disobedience, just like the devil. (1 John 3:9-10) This spiritual nature is the source of all the evil in the world and it makes us unfit for citizenship in Heaven. Now we must be born again of God through the Spirit of Christ to be regenerated with the divine nature of Christ that fits us for Heaven. I’ll say it again another way. The first man (Adam) begets us with the natural man of the self-program that fits us for this natural world called earth. We are all born of Him. In Adam all die. In the same manner, God made the second man from Heaven (Christ), to be the last Adam to beget us with His divine nature of the Son-program that fits us for Heaven. In Christ all are made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:22)
Our Inheritance in the First Man of the Earth is Death and our Inheritance in the Second Man from Heaven, the Last Adam is Eternal life.
1. Jesus Came from Heaven through perfect virgin birth by the power of God for us!
God promised from the very beginning to Adam, Eve and Satan that He was going to send His only Son to from Heaven to earth to take back the dominion Satan stole from Adam. God later made this promise into blood covenant with Abraham and his seed. All the historical events of the Old Testament teach and demonstrate how God’s only Son will come from Heaven to fulfill His promise at the Cross. Jesus said to everyone in every way that He was the promised Son of God that came from Heaven to earth to destroy Satan’s curse of death over mankind and his power of dominion over planet earth. God stooped down to us in sending His Son to accomplish Justice and Mercy for all humanity because God is Love and He loves us. (Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 7:14, John 6:38-46, Hebrews 2:14-15, 1 John 4:9-21)
2. Jesus Lived a perfect life by the power of God for us!
Jesus came from Heaven to earth through virgin birth and was the only man in a human body that perfectly fulfilled the Law of God because the Law of God is in His heart. The spiritual nature of Christ is the Spirit of obedience. Jesus always obeyed His father God. Jesus never went anywhere without being sent by God. Jesus never said any words without God leading Him of what to say. Jesus never did anything without God’s guidance, approval and permission. Jesus only obeyed God and He did that for us. Three times in the Bible. It is mentioned that God spoke from heaven, saying this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. This means Jesus fulfilled the Law of God to be our perfect sacrifice upon the cross. (Matthew 5:17-20, Hebrews 2:14-15, 10:9)
3. Jesus Died a perfect death for us!
Jesus was our substitute in death that He might become our substitute in Life. Jesus shed His innocent blood as a ransom for us. The Law of God says, “the wages of sin is death, that in Adam all die and without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.. (Romans 6:23, Leviticus 16:11, 1 Corinthians 15:22) So everyone born of Adam must pay the wages of sin, which is death. When God sees the blood shed, he sees death. After dearth, the penalty of sin is Hell. Through death Jesus destroyed Satan’s powers of death and dominion over planet earth and all humanity. The precious innocent blood was shed on our behalf to satisfy the righteous demands of a just God yet He sent His only Son from Heaven to take our place so we can be made alive unto God and His shed blood is the signature that signs the check of God’s divine mercy towards us. Through faith in the blood of Christ, you will come to realize that all divine penalties have been paid and all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places have been given unto you. (Hebrews 2:14, 9:22, Matthew 17:5, Mark 9:7, Luke 9:35, Matthey 3:17, Ephesians 1:3-14)
4. Jesus Rose Again after Defeating Satan by the power of God to become the perfect spiritual nature for us!
Just like Jesus was raised up from the dead for us, even so we should walk in newness of life by Him. (Psalms 19:7-8, Romans 6:31) Jesus was the demonstration model of what we all are going to look like, act like and be like forever through Christ in us. We can now receive God’s gift of eternal life by receiving the Spirit of Christ into our hearts. By faith in His redemption you can experience His salvation. You can Be a Son! You can be like Jesus in every way without any trace of sin, destined to live forever with Him. I didn’t say you can be a perfect human. You will never be perfect in this world, but just like a child grows and matures even so we grow up into Him and experience the fulness of life which is eternal. (Ephesians 3:19, 4:15) And while you are in this world, by faith in God you can overcome the flesh, the world and the devil, and all the spiritual powers of darkness that are against you through the Spirit of Christ in you. (Mark 11:22-23)
Because spiritually He’s everything we hope for
And logically He’s all that we desire
And lovingly He’s waiting on the other shore
So willingly in Him let us retire In Jesus!
You can now see why you can’t understand the Bible without realizing this first foundational concept of Truth in the Bible. All the issues of life and death in the universe are legal issues that find there fulfillment in the spiritual natures of the Two Men, Adam and Christ. The whole universe operates according to the Laws of God and God’s Laws cannot be broken without a penalty that satisfies the issue. In this world the issues of sin and death are settled by blood and in Heaven, the issues of eternity are settled by the precious shed blood of Christ that satisfies God’s divine justice and earns God’s mercy towards us. This is the Secret of Eternity that the rulers of the darkness of this world don’t want you to discover. The Secret of Eternity is that we can go from life and death to death and life through Christ. At the cross Christ satisfied God’s divine justice and purchased God’s mercy towards us; “You Can Now Be a Son,” through the Spirit of Christ in you. (1 John 3:10) You are either a natural man born of Adam or you are a spiritual man, born again of the Spirit of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:14, Ephesians 4:22-24, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18) Adam was the first man and we are all his progeny. Before God, every soul born of Adam is the heir of Adam’s spiritual nature. God formed the first man out of the ground so he is of this earth and in him we are all earthy. (1 Corinthians 15:47) Jesus is the second man from Heaven born of the virgin with the divine nature. God sent His Son Jesus from Heaven to earth to become the Last Adam, the new head of the human race. Jesus lived a perfect life before God and man. Then Jesus voluntarily laid down His life and shed His innocent blood to satisfy the legal demands of the divine justice of the Law of God for us. By shedding His innocent blood upon the cross as our substitute, Jesus redeemed us from Satan’s curse of death and his dominion over planet earth. Through His resurrection, Jesus destroyed Satan’s powers of death over mankind so He could quicken us with His divine nature by His Holy Spirit and bring us back unto God that we might receive the adoption of Sons (Galatians 4:4-5) with an eternal inheritance in God’s eternal family forever. (Hebrews 9:15)
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:53-58)
Just like Adam believed himself into Satan’s new world order self-program, even so we must believe ourselves into Christ’s eternal Son-program. Faith is the lifestyle of believing yourself into Christ and abiding in Him as you grow up into Him. God declares us righteous in His sight the moment we believe in Jesus Christ. Jesus became man and was punished for us in our place to satisfy God’s perfect justice and purchase God’s mercy unto us. Just like we were born of Adam into this world, even so we can be born again of the divine nature of Christ into God’s world. God counts the perfect life of Christ as ours, His perfect death as ours and His resurrection as ours when we believe ourselves into Him. That is redemption and it becomes our salvation when we receive God’s gift of Christ in our hearts and learn to walk in the truth by faith. The historical bodily resurrection of Christ is the great victory of eternity, and it belongs to you. (Romans 4:25) God’s original plan was to enlarge His heavenly family that He could love forever and that is still God’s plan. That is the true Secret of Eternity and God’s provision of redemption and salvation through Christ that accomplishes His plan. The time will come when the devil is no longer the god of this world. Jesus is coming again; not as the suffering redeemer but as the victorious, kingly savior who brings us back unto God. (John 1:12) He will restore that which was lost. The reason the knowledge of Truth is hidden from us is because it can only be found by the seeking heart that cries out to God for truth and then God reaches down from Heaven and reveals truth to us. (John 16:13) We humans are born as mental creatures who live all our lives in bondage to Satan’s self-program of SIN that blinds our minds unto the truth, (2 Corinthians 4:4) Yet God is a Spirit, who quickens our human spirits by His Spirit when we believe the Truth and cry out to Him with all our hearts. He will answer you and show you great and mighty things you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3) The real God of eternity is the God and father of Jesus Christ who conquered the powers of death for us by Jesus Christ. He is the God that wants to reveal all the truth unto you and He is still enlarging His heavenly family. (Ephesians 1:5)
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God? (John 11:40)
It isn’t the old saying, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” There is no believing going on when you are seeing it. Jesus said, “If you will believe it then you will see it.” The Secret of Eternity is an easy thing to believe because we do the same thing. We humans get married, have children and grow our families. The Secret of Eternity is the truth that God is the heavenly father who is enlarging His heavenly family and you are invited to be in His family forever. (Hebrews 12:9) Your understanding of the Secret of Eternity is just beginning as you learn the foundational concept of the Two Men, (Adam and Christ) the spiritual natures they provide for us (the natural man and the spiritual man) and our choice of which family we want to be in forever. Jesus said that He will guide you into all truth by His Spirit and you will be amazed. (John 16:13) God created you for Himself. God wants you to come to His world and He has done everything He can do to make that possible for you if you can only believe. (John 3:16) God even has an eternal inheritiance laid up in Heaven for you. (! Peter 1:3-5) God doesn’t want one person on planet earth to be lost and to perish forever, yet multitudes will be lost and perish forever in Satan and his family without connecting with God. (2 Peter 3:9) We all grow up in this world with an elementary “life and dearth,” philosophy, but the Bible imparts the knowledge of Truth which requires a grown up attitude of “death and life.” The Truth you are searching for isn’t just a mere knowledge that you seek. It is a secret that can only be realized and understood by your heart. (Romans 10:10) It is a divine person that you believe yourself into that brings about a new birth of spiritual nature in your heart. (Galatians 6:15) Our spiritual nature of life in this world is a matter of birth in the old man, not by our choice. Life in God’s world called Heaven is a matter of new birth, the rebirth of the human spirit with the divine nature of the new man by choice. (Ephesians 2:15) After the new birth, God calls us SONS. (Galatians 4:4-5) With the heart man believes and with his mouth he confesses the truth of Christ and is saved. (Romans 10:10) You can tell whether you are saved or not because the spiritual nature of your heart automatically comes out of the words of your mouth and the deeds of the body. (Romans 8:13-14)
This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. (Ephesians 4:17-32)
Philosophy will make you think about spiritual concepts and religion will put you to work to be a so-called better person, while self-help coaches will cheer you own to reach your goals, but they will never reveal the Secret of Eternity because they don’t know it. Goals and Luck and a change of attitudes are not the Blessings from God that come down from Heaven. The knowledge you seek is not just a head knowledge, but it is a heart knowledge that connects you unto the Spirit of God by faith. With the heart man believes. (Romans 10:10) The foundation of understanding the Bible is formed by understanding the revelation of the two men and the life they provide for you, which is death or life. To believe the Truth or not to believe the Truth, that is the question. Jesus said, “All things are possible if you can believe.” (Mark 9:23) God will reveal the truth to you and answer every question for you in the Bible and the final summation is eternal. (John 18:37) You are not making yourself a better person, but you are believing yourself into the divine nature of the Spirit of Christ through faith. (2 Corinthians 5:6-7) God put every soul into Christ upon the cross and He crucified us all in Christ. (Galatians 2:20) God also raised us from the dead in Christ. As you believe the truth, it begins to transform you from the life and death perspective to the death to life perspective and your faith in God’s word now forms Christ in you. (Colossians 2:27-29, Matthew 4:4)
Jesus said unto him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes. (Mark 9:23)
The knowledge of truth in the Bible is the heart knowledge of the living God who has created you for LOVE and designed you for eternal citizenship in Heaven. Little do we know that Heaven is a real place just like earth is a real place. We were created by God for God and we are searching for Him without even knowing what we are searching for, but everything remains hidden until the heart cries out to God and God reveals Himself to us. (1 Corinthians 12:7-9) His revelation of eternal truth only comes through the words of Jesus Christ to the heart that is pursuing God. Jesus said, “It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing. (John 6:63) The words that I have spoken unto you are Spirit and they are life. (John 6:33) Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall never pass away. (Mark 13:31) Jesus ought to know. He is the only man who has ever historically conquered death and He did that for us. (Romans 1:18) Jesus’ life, burial and resurrection affects you forever, but how it affects you depends upon your response to His wonderful gift of eternal life, which we receive by faith. Everything Jesus ever said came to pass and is coming to pass. Your natural life was the gift of God and eternal life is also the gift of God through Christ in us. (Romans 6:23) Our citizenship in this natural world was given unto us without our free will, but our citizenship in Heaven comes to us by our own free will when we respond correctly with all our hearts to Jesus, who is the King of Heaven. (Philippians 3:20) Time is running out for us all. The most important thing we can do for our souls is to learn the Secret of Eternity and secure eternal life for the inward man, the hidden man of our spirits. (1 Peter 3:4, 2 Corinthians 4:16)
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13) My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. (John 10:27-28)
What’s the difference between lacking knowledge or believing a lie? Nothing! They both rob humans of their daily lifestyle of son-ship on earth and their eternal destiny in Heaven, which rightfully belongs to them. Mere thoughts come from the enemy of our souls into our minds. (2 Corinthians 4:4) Outward things can be manipulated to paint deceptions in your mind that seem real until it is too late, but truth reveals inward things that are eternal. Truth which leads to eternal life comes through the voice of Jesus that flows into your heart by His words. To open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me. (Acts 26:18)
If you listen to the words of Jesus with your heart, you will hear the voice of the Son of God and you will live forever. (John 5:25) The time will come, while it is called TODAY, when you will realize which voice you are listening to and whether you are believing the truth of eternity or a lie that is promoted by the god of this world who has blinded the minds of them that believe not, which ends in death. (2 Corinthians 4:4) These questions and many others make a great conversation for philosophers, psychologists, positive thinkers, and self-help teachers, but the seeker of truth wants truth. His heart is crying out for God with all his might because he wants to live forever and he doesn’t know how. He knows God has made provision for him but he doesn’t know what it is or where to find it. He just wants all that God has provided to become reality in his life and he wants to know he is safe forever. (Acts 26:18)
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As you have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. (John 17:17-19)
Jesus prayed for you that you might know the truth and become separated unto God by the Spirit of Truth. When Jesus prays, the angels go to work to get things done. Jesus wants you to live forever in Heaven with Him because He loves you. The natural man doesn’t want to die. He wants to live and when his eyes are opened to the things which are not seen, he wants to live forever. (James 4:14) Truth cleanses away the lies that this world trains us to believe and live by. Obedience to the Truth overcomes death and pleases God because He wants you to be in His heavenly family. Then truth is no longer a secret but little by little God reveals Himself unto you because He wants you to understand Him. My words might get your attention, but God’s words will reshape your life for eternity. God wants to reveal everything to you. (John 5:20) God is the only one that can satisfy the hunger and thirst of your heart because you were created for eternal fellowship with Him. (John 14:27) Your heart knows that without God you are not safe forever. Peace only comes from finding God and knowing that the one true God loves you so much that He has made a covenant with you in the shed blood of Jesus. Death itself has no power against the eternal blood covenant that God has sealed in the blood of Jesus, His only Son. (Matthew 28:19-20) Nothing else will satisfy your heart because the spirit of a man wants to live forever and without God that is impossible. The Bible shows us how to connect with God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Call unto me, and I will answer you, and shew you great and mighty things, which you don’t know. (Jeremiah 33:3) Therefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, And touch not the unclean thing; And I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, And you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)
God is happy to answer you when you call out to Him with your heart. (Jeremiah 33:3) He longs to hear your voice because He is the heavenly father of spirits. (Hebrews 12:9) God said that He will reveal truth to you, and you will be satisfied. (Psalm 91:16) The Bible has all the answers. God will reveal the answers to your questions when your heart is pursuing Him and your mind is listening to the words of God. (Jeremiah 29:13) This world will change with fresh new lies just like day and night and the lies of this world will pass away, but God never changes. (Proverbs 12:19) God created you for Himself and His greatest pleasure is the process of revealing Himself to you. (Proverbs 23:15) The creator loves to reveal Himself to the creature. (Proverbs 1:23) That is part of the Secret of Eternity. The purpose of every relationship is fellowship. God offers that unto you forever if you will just open up your heart to Him. (Matthew 11:28-29) Then God will show you in His book, the Bible, how to walk in the truth with Him by faith and have joy unspeakable, full of glory, day by day. (1 Peter 1:8)
How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my Spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. (Proverbs 1:22-23)
The Bible classifies everyone into one of three classes of people spiritually; the simple, the fools and the wise. Which one are you? The simple know not anything and they believe lies. The fools walk in the ways of death while they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. (Proverbs 4:17-19) They that are wise seek Truth. (Daniel 12:3) They purpose in their hearts to obey God, learn truth, and depart from evil. (Micah 6:8) They that are wise walk by faith in God’s provision of redemption and cry out for understanding of God’s power of salvation. (Daniel 1:23) Just like it was in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, God asks us to listen to Him. God is good and He has done everything possible to keep you from being destroyed by the evil powers of darkness while you live in this present evil world. (Ephesians 6:12, Galatians 1:4) A good parent says, “Don’t pick up that snake or it may bite you and you will surely die.” (Genesis 2:17) After being warned, if you pick up that snake you are foolish and if you don’t do that you are wise, but if you don’t pay attention to God’s instruction, you are a simple person with no structure in your life. To those with hard hearts, here is God’s warning to you.
Because I have called, and you refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But you have set at naught all my counsel and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes; When your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whosoever hearkens unto me shall dwell safely and shall be quiet from fear of evil. (Proverbs 1:24-33)
Spiritual things are more real than natural things because the Spirit of God created all natural things. The Bible isn’t a religion, but it is the revelation of the unseen eternal Spirit of God. Science, archeology, and history itself has proven the Bible to be truth. That is another part of the Secret of Eternity. The Bible isn’t some secret that only one person has. (John 9:41) The Bible is a historical message from the Creator of the universe with one theme of redemption that becomes salvation. (Ephesians 3:17-19) In the Bible, God reveals His purpose for creation, how things began, what happened that created the death problem, what He has done to fix the death problem and how we appropriate His redemption into salvation by faith. (John 3:16) The Bible is a supernatural book written by God through holy men of God, to teach us how overcome the powers of death and live forever as we appropriate His redemption of the cross in our hearts by faith. Through Jesus Christ God imparts supernatural power into the human spirit so he can live and not die, forever. (John 8:51) This, no mere religion created by man or angel, can do. Religion tells man what he must do for God, but the Bible tells man what God has already done for him. The Bible is good news, but it is a mystery to the simple and a secret unto the fool, until they come to God with their hearts and learn that the Bible is the hidden wisdom for the wise. Then God is pleased to reveal His wisdom unto us so we can live and not die.
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect (mature): yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God no man knows, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words, which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1Corinthians 2:6-14)
God wrote the Bible to give us all the answers. His purpose for creation is the enlargement of His heavenly family. God is a Spirit and He is the father of spirits. He has even invited us to become citizens of Heaven (through faith in Jesus Christ) where He lives. Any good father wants to have a large family to love. God has unlimited love to give, which cannot be exhausted, and everyone is invited to become a member of His heavenly family. God had one Son and He wanted more, so He created the universe to serve as the foundation for planet earth. Then God created planet earth as His garden to give man a place to live. Then God created man for the purpose of having more Sons to love forever. (1 Peter 1:24-25, Matthew 13:38, John 15:1-14, Matthew 7:16-19)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. (Ephesians 1:3-6)
The Secret of Eternity is this; “You Can Be A Son!” God is adopting humans into His heavenly family and through His adoption we receive an eternal inheritance as the Sons of God, and this was all made possible by the Son of God Himself redeeming us from Satan’s powers of Sin and Death. Yes, God is enlarging His heavenly family. After all, this was God’s purpose for creation, to enlarge His heavenly family with more Sons that He can love forever. In Heaven there is neither male nor female, rich, or poor, nor slaves or free men but they are new creatures called the Sons of God, bought and paid for by the precious innocent blood of Jesus. (Galatians 3:28-29) Just like we humans like to have large families, even so God is enlarging His heavenly family that He can love forever, and God’s message for this mess-age is “You Can Be A Son!” God wants to reveal the answers to all your questions, and He does so as a father to His child. God created you for Himself and He wants a relationship with you. God is higher than the heavens, yet He is as personal as a husband, a wife, a father, and a mother. God Loves You and He wants you in Heaven with Him forever. Anything is mysterious when you don’t know about it, but when God reveals Himself to you, even though it is beyond your imagination, it is very normal and natural, and you know that you know that God is real. He opens the eyes and ears of your heart to see Him and hear His voice so you can know Him and walk with Him just like faithful Abraham. God wrote the Bible just for you, the seeker of Truth and He will deliver the goods, when you pursue Him with all your heart. (Proverbs 23:26) The Bible says God is Love, that God is holy, perfect, divine love. God loves all His creatures. Yet even though the love of God is the highest power in the universe, the lesson of the Bible is, “You are free to live your own dead life without God, but if that is your choice, you are going to die and if you are spiritually dead when you physically die, you will be dead forever without God.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory. (Colossians 3:3-5)
Did you see the real Truth in this passage of scripture? The TRUTH is we are all born into this world called planet earth in a state of spiritual death. That is why we die. Death did not originate with God. Death is the enemy of God. Death is the product and self-program of Satan. God sent Jesus into planet earth (born of the virgin) to defeat Satan and his powers of death over mankind. There is a place reserved for the devil, his fellow angels, and all spiritual rebel humans forever, but God has made provision for you to be redeemed from the powers of death by Jesus Christ. He became your substitute in death upon the cross. He paid your death penalty to atone for your sins and remove your sin nature so you could receive the divine nature of Christ and live forever with Him. The creature can choose to exist living a spiritually dead life without God. (Colossians 3:3-5) However, that is not wise. Death is the result of separating from God. Without knowing God, you are spiritually dead. Think about that. Death was never a part of God’s original plan. Death is an enemy of God and man. A great catastrophe occurred in the beginning with the first man that affected the whole human race, every soul born of Adam. We are all the progeny of Adam. By one man, sin entered the world and spiritual death passed upon all men. (Romans 5:12) The Bible tells us what happened, how it affected the human race in Adam’s loins, what God promised to do to fix our death problem and how God historically fixed the death problem through one man Jesus Christ. You were created for life and eternal life is God’s gift unto us all. God supernaturally wrote the Bible to help you understand His divine plan for you. Throughout the Bible God cries out for our attention.
I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: (Isaiah 45:5)
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. Isaiah (45:22)
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)
Fear not, little flock; For it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. (Luke 12:32) Behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (Matthew 11:28-29)
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (1Corinthians 15:55)
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27)
Death be not proud! Jesus Christ has conquered death for us. The Bible is a divine love letter, wrapped up and sealed with the royal seal, sent down from Heaven with a glorious revelation inside. Everyone that unlocks the royal seal of truth by faith in Christ, will behold the power of God and learn the Secret of Eternity that lies hidden within the Bible. What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul forever? Nothing! What can a man give in exchange for His soul? (Matthew 16:26) The only thing we really have in this world is our hearts and even that is for a limited time. The cross of Jesus with the Son of God upon it became the Tree of Life for us, because when Jesus died upon the cross, He not only died in our place as our substitute in death, but he also became the door of eternal life for all who believe the truth of God in the Bible. Forgiveness of sins alone doesn’t get us into Heaven. Forgiveness means God is no longer holding our sins against us because He has reconcile us unto Himself. That is the goodness of God. But it also means that we now qualify for the new birth through which we receive His Spirit into our hearts and become citizens and heirs of Heaven forever.
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:35-37)
Translation: If you continue in the spiritual nature of your flesh, you will lose it, but if you will give up the spiritual nature of the flesh to walk in the divine nature of His Spirit for His sake, you will save your life. Just like we are born into this world with the nature of this world in our hearts, even so when we come to God with all our hearts, we become born again of His Spirit and we have the nature of Heaven in our hearts, which is divine love. This is the good news of the Bible. Believing in Jesus Christ causes us to be born again of His Spirit, which is eternal life. Jesus is alive and He has conquered death for us. You were born once as a natural man, but Jesus said we must be born again of His Spirit so we can become a spiritual man and live forever. He has redeemed us from Satan’s powers of death. By believing in Jesus we become born again of His divine nature and receive eternal life. We can’t apply for God’s mercy without repentance. All there is before mercy is judgement. Except YOU REPENT, you shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5) What does it mean to repent? It means to turn around and go the other way. With God it means that we humble ourselves from living the lifestyle of being our own gods and allow Him to be God in our lives. If we will repent of living only for SELF and come to God with all our hearts, He will quicken us by His Spirit, and we will become alive unto God spiritually. The curse will come to an end and God’s blessing of eternity will begin and it will last forever and ever. It profits us nothing to live our whole lives for a few minutes in eternity and then be lost forever. The only thing we can give in exchange for our soul is our soul. Give up the sinful soul of the self-program that you cannot keep to gain the spiritual soul of the Son-program from God that you will never lose. You decide how you respond to God’s gift of citizenship in Heaven and every earthly blessing. The Secret of Eternity is “God is enlarging His heavenly family and You can be a Son! All are invited, but few will respond. How foolish can we be to live life to be our own gods and live for self without God for a few days of time on earth and then be lost forever. We don’t have forever to respond to the goodness of God. The most profitable thing a man can do is invest some time into learning the truth of God’s words in the Bible. If Truth is your treasure God will respond unto you. Jesus said, “If you seek Him with all your heart you will find Him. (Jeremiah 29:13)
My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord And find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice And preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity, and every good path. When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you, (Proverbs 2:1-11)
The Secret of Eternity is the theme of the Bible. It is also the key, which unlocks the treasure inside your heart. For centuries the worldwide church has based its teachings of the Bible on the forgiveness of sins and Heaven when we die. These things are true, but they are only the beginning of the goodness of God that is revealed through the Bible. The Secret of Eternity lies hidden and ready for activation within your heart. What God is doing is not of this world and is far beyond our imagination. The things of the Spirit are eternal, and more real than the things of this natural world. God wants to reveal these things unto us so we can understand Him. Our first book is called, “You Can Be A Son, Secret Of Eternity.” We feel this book is a clear, full, true, proper presentation of the Gospel of Truth. It will help you understand the Bible for yourself.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:22) But he that sins against me wrongs his own soul: All they that hate me love death. (Proverbs 8:36)
The Secret of Eternity is the revelation of God’s real purpose of creation. You Can Be A Son! Any good father wants a large family. Well, God is the heavenly father. He had one Son and He wanted more, so He created the universe as a foundation for planet earth. Then He created planet earth to give man a place to live. Then God created man to enlarge His heavenly family with more Sons. (Ephesians 1:2-5)
In our book, Secret of Eternity, Bonnie, and I feel that our discoveries of truth and revelations of faith will help you clearly understand the Bible. The Secret of Eternity is essentially this, “God is enlarging His heavenly family and You can be a Son.” God has made it possible for us to get the death out and the life in through receiving the Spirit of Christ into our hearts by faith. That is the gift of God. Every soul is invited to obtain an eternal inheritance in Heaven through faith in the redemption that Jesus Christ accomplished for us all.” God is enlarging His heavenly family by adopting us as His very own Sons through Christ in us. (Ephesians 1:5, 2 Corinthians 6:18, Galatians 4:5-7, Romans 8:15) Just as humans want to have large families, even so God is having more Sons. You Can Be A Son!!! That is the Secret of Eternity. The Son walks with the Father and does the will of the Father. (John 5:19) Jesus demonstrated the lifestyle of son-ship perfectly. Hence, we see the difference between the first man Adam, which was the natural Son of God (Luke 3:38) and the second man from Heaven who is the spiritual Son of God, which is Jesus. (John 3:16) God gave the first man Adam the freedom to walk with Him or to walk away from Him. Adam chose to disobey God and give the world system over to Satan, God’s enemy, and when he did, he died spiritually and so death passed upon all men in Adam’s loins, including you and me. (Romans 5:12) The lesson God wants us to learn is the same lesson Adam learned that life without God is death. (Proverbs 8:36) Even though we move around, and we can see and hear and talk, etc., without God we are spiritually dead, and we are going to physically die. We are all the progeny of Adam. When Adam separated from God, all of us who were in his loins separated from God and when Adam spiritually died, death passed upon all men in Adam. The result of Adam’s fall away from God is that now we who are the progeny of Adam are all born spiritually dead and separated from God. That is why we die physically. So God made His promise to send another Son born of a virgin to become the last Adam for us so we can live and not die. (Genesis 3:15) In Adam all die, but in Christ all are made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:22) In Adam we are all born as a natural human being, separated from God, who will eventually die, but in Christ we are all are born again of the Spirit of Christ and in Him we are made alive unto God forever. Because of the goodness of God in sending Jesus to come from Heaven to earth to redeem us from the powers of death, we all face the same choice Adam faced, death and life, we choose.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of Sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He has made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; Wherein he has abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence. (Ephesians 1:2-7)
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore you are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Galatians 4:4-7)
These two passages of scriptures and many others reveal that God is having more Sons. That was the original purpose of creation and that was the real purpose that God sent Jesus Christ from Heaven to earth. God has been with mankind from the very beginning, walking through time and historically arranging for our redemption from the powers of death. Jesus has come from Heaven for the very purpose of redeeming us from the powers of death and He has opened the gates of Heaven unto us. In His life, Jesus fulfilled the Law of God for us. Then Jesus supernaturally became our substitute and died our death for us upon the cross to atone for our sins to accomplish God’s justice and to remove our sin nature by giving us His divine nature of life. By faith in His redemption, God gives us His Spirit so we can Live By Him and walk in eternal life. The good news of the Bible is this, “As you live by Jesus, You Can Be A Son!” God is still enlarging His heavenly family. That is the Secret of Eternity. (Ephesians 1:5, 3:15-21)

The Bible really is good news from Heaven, which empowers every person who comes to God by faith. As you read our book, Secret of Eternity, you will learn things that you’ve never heard and never will forget, and faith will surely come. (Romans 10:17) It is good for the street person, the billionaire, the prisoner, the president, the atheist, the teacher, and the student, in every culture and in every nation. It imparts a clear understanding of the Bible. The whole Bible has one theme and when you can see that theme in each book of the Bible, it’s like discovering hidden treasures or learning a secret language. Through the Bible, God will open your eyes to look at the things which are not seen. Without the power of God we are doomed. It is like the power of electricity that is available throughout the whole house, but the lights won’t work until you turn on the light switch. The same is true with the power of God inside the human heart. In the Bible, that part of us which believes is called the heart. It is the core of our very being just like the heart is for the body. God not only reveals truth unto us, but He supernaturally empowers us in our hearts to believe ourselves into Christ. Your heart, not your head, is the very center of your being where you connect with God, In every person, real faith makes us alive unto God and activates the power of God to deliver us from the powers of death through the Spirit of Christ in us, because God loves us.
For we walk by faith, not by sight: (2 Corinthians 5:7) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
The B.I.B.L.E. means Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.
In the day of death, you need to be ready. God wrote the Bible to help us get ready for that. God doesn’t want anyone to perish, and He has made provision for us to prevent that. God is Love. No religion designed by man or angel reveals the love of God. Only in the Bible do we see the love of God and His heavenly provision for us. Religion teaches what man must do for God, but the Bible reveals what God has already done for us. God loves everyone and He wants to see everyone in Heaven. Here in our book lies the revelation of the Secret of Eternity. Don’t leave earth without it.
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”(Revelation 3:20) That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)
God is waiting for you to come home. (2 Corinthians 6;2) If you will cry out to God and ask Him to save you from the powers of death, He will answer you and show you His salvation. God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked. (Psalm 91:15-16) That includes the rich or poor, for movie stars and politicians, for the athlete and the nobody. Calling out to God will transform you into a somebody. The door of Heaven is open until an appointed time. Today is the day of Salvation. All you need to do to receive God’s gift of eternal life is to pray unto God with all your heart and He will answer your prayer. You might say words like this,
Jesus I open the door of my heart unto you and ask you to come into my spirit. Please forgive me of all my sins and quicken me by your Spirit so I can walk in newness of life. Jesus, I accept you as my redeemer, my savior and Lord. Thank you Lord for dying as my substitute upon the cross so I might be forgiven of my sins, receive your divine nature and have eternal life. (John 3:16-17) Amen!
If you have prayed unto God with all your heart, the Bible says that your spirit has been saved and that you are a new creature in Christ. Old things have passed away, all things are become new, and all things are of God who has reconciled us unto Himself. It you prayed with all your heart; the Bible says you have been born again. Welcome into God’s heavenly family. That isn’t too hard to understand. You were born once of the flesh, so it isn’t that hard to understand that you must be born again of the Spirit. You’ve been born naturally, but you must be born spiritually. You’ve been born as a human but now you must be born again of God’s Spirit. Nothing in this world can make you be born again. That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is your spirit. (John 3:16) The new birth is the rebirth of the human spirit. You were born of the natural world, and you must born again into God’s spiritual world. That’s not too hard to understand. Your spirit can hear the voice of God’s Spirit. That is the part of you that has been searching for truth and really crying out to God, and God has answered the cry of your heart. God wants everyone to be born again and be saved. God doesn’t want anyone to perish forever. God created you for Himself and He sent Jesus from Heaven to earth to pay the price to cover your sins and He has overcome spiritual powers on your behalf to make it possible for you to be born again and inherit heaven. Jesus is alive and He sits at the right hand of God interceding for you. The present day ministry of Jesus Christ is another lesson. Hopefully in this book you have seen the truth of the Bible, have gotten the message of God’s call, have prayed unto God and He has quickened you by His Spirit when you believed.
