That’s a pretty good philosophy isn’t it, until you are up, up and away in your beautiful balloon and raindrops keep falling your head. That’s what people will believe and write songs about, but nothing could be further from the Truth!
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (Proverbs 14:12)
There is nothing worse than doing what seems right only to find out you are totally wrong and oops, we’re going to die. You can SEE the hints in this passage of scripture? It seems right but it isn’t. That is a good description of spiritual darkness. If you are doing something that you think is right but it is really wrong, you are ignorant of the truth. Such are the ways of death. If you are alive unto yourself, but you are dead unto God, you are dead and eventually you will fizzle out and die becaue you are already dead. That is why we all walk in the ways of death. You are in the dark until you see how it is wrong. Then you need to learn what is right. This is also true spiritually and our unwillingness to see the truth contributes to our demise. You know you can swim, but you need to know that if you jump into the middle of the ocean and shout SWIM, you are going to die, even though you can swim. Even so we think it is normal to walk in darkness and enjoy the ways of death, but it isn’t because you are lost without God and you will just continue to walk in the darkness of this world until you are eventually lost forever. What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul forever? (Mark 8:36) I don’t consider a few accomplishments, some relationships that will eventually end and some money to pay the bills, worth the risk of losing my soul. How about you?
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26)
It isn’t just about what we do in life but it is about who we are and are we fit for Heaven. Before God, our spiritual nature is wrong and we can’t fix that. Only God can fix our death problem and He has done that, but if you don’t have access to the fix, you will be lost forever. There is a way in the wilderness, a stream in the desert that leads to Heaven but many will be lost for a lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13) The world is God’s garden and humans are the trees in God’s garden. (Matthew 13:38, Matthew 7:13-20) Just like we graft trees to change the nature of the tree, even so God has a spiritual graft of the divine nature for us, which is Christ. God wants us to live forever with Him and He has even made that possible through the redemption that Christ provides, but if we don’t come to the light and see Truth, we will die and be lost forever for no good reason. Danger! Danger! Death is approaching! We can’t come to God the way we are because we are unfit for Heaven and we must go through a change of spiritual nature to be made fit for eternity in Heaven. Until we go through the change, everything we do in life seems right in our own eyes because it is our nature to live after the flesh for SELF, and to walk in the ways of death. Our spiritual nature of the flesh, passed down to us from Adam through the bloodlines of our fathers, makes us unfit for Heaven and headed for hell. What’s worse is; it isn’t your fault. You were born the way you are and we are unfit for Heaven by nature. What’s worse is the fact that it is impossible for us to change our spiritual nature to make ourselves fit for Heaven. Human; you have a problem! It’s the death problem! Death isn’t just a spiritual experience. Death is the spiritual nature of living without God. That lifestyle is what causes physical death which separates us from God forever. As the progeny of Adam we are all born spiritually dead. That is why we physically die; because we are spiritually dead. As spiritually dead people, we walk in the darkness of this world, blind to the truth until we experience physical death which separates us from God forever. So there you have the three processes of death; spiritual death, physical death and eternal death. The next few following thoughts are very sobering. If you can’t see the difference between going from darkness to light, you won’t fully understand the spiritual process of going from Death to Life.
The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. (Proverbs 4:19) The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. (Proverbs 20:27)
We are all born into this world spiritually dead and we are spiritually blind as we walk in the Darkness of this world. Darkness is symbolic of being blind to the knowledge of Truth. In the Bible, the Sun is symbolic of the Son of God that radiates the light of Truth and the moon is symbolic eithr of the world that is in spiritual darkness or believers in God who reflect the light of the sun. Even so our hearts are the candle of the Lord and when the light of truth shines into our hearts, the wick of our souls are lit, and we see the spiritual light of Truth. As we walk in the light we become the light of the world. (Matthew 5:14-16) When we are ignorant about something, we are in the dark so to speak. Even so, when we lack the knowledge of Truth we are in spiritual darkness.
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)
In the Bible, darkness is the word for those that don’t know the Truth of God and Light is the word for those that understand truth and know how to walk in the Truth and apply the Truth. Just like we are in darkness in the womb, even so we are born into this world of darkness, blind to the Truth. We have to come unto God with all our hearts to get the light of Truth turned on. Spiritually speaking, we are either walking in the light of Truth and we are alive unto God or we are walking in the spiritual darkness of lies, lusts and evil and we are spiritually dead unto God. That is why we die. Death is a way of life that ends in death. What’s worse than being spiritually dead is the fact that when we physically die, we will be dead (separated from God) forever. Those are the three levels of death; spiritual death, physical death and eternal death. Our spiritual nature of living to be our own god’s by the Satan’s Self-Program of SIN is not allowed in Heaven. There is no lying or lusting or hatred or disobedience or living for SELF in Heaven. Living after the flesh means that we are controlled by our fleshy nature of the self-program of SIN. (1 John 3:10) A good description of S.I.N. is Satan In Nature. (1 John 5:19) From the Bible perspective, Self is the facemask of Satan. (John 844) Our wicked earthly sinful philosophies of self aren’t allowed in Heaven. (Revelation 21:27) We think we are in control of our lives, but the self-program that we all live by to be our own gods is really a spiritual program of the ways of death. (Proverbs 14:12) Living by the self-program of SIN makes us dead unto God so that we cannot see His truth, hear His voice, feel His love or be led of His Spirit.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)
This passage of scripture is pretty startling because it reveals that we are fighting against spiritual personalities that rule the darkness of this world. The Bible perspective is that we are in darkness when we lack the knowledge of the Truth of spiritual things. Our natural world is affected by an invisible world order under Satan’s control that we cannot see because the god of this world has blinded our minds to the truth. You should be able to see the fear level rising in the earth today. Some very evil things are going on in the world designed by the natural and spiritual rulers of the darkness of this world. Their plan is to build a new world order that can bring all mankind under their control. That plan was defeated at the tower of Babel, it was defeated again by the great flood when God preserved the bloodline of the Messiah through Noah and it was defeated again with the separation of the people of Israel from the Pharaoh of Egypt. Now the plan of the rulers of the darkness of this world is to control and destroy the world and all humanity to get back at God. Until we can see the holy war that is going on in the world and inspired in the spirit realm by the rulers of the darkness of this world, our souls are in spiritual danger. It is sad to say that multitudes will die and be lost forever in Hell for no good reason. Why is that? It is because that is their inheritance passed down to us from Adam and they failed to receive God’s gift of redemption through the last Adam, Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:12) Jesus didn’t come from Heaven to show off. He came to redeem us from Satan’s powers of death to conquer Satan, to destroy his dominion over the human race and to bring us back unto God through His redemption as though we have never sinned. In Christ we can be born again of the divine nature of the Spirit of Christ and receive an eternal inheritance in Heaven. (John 3:3-7, 1 Peter 1:3-4)
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest at any time they should see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And should understand with their heart, And should be converted, and I should heal them. (Matthew 13:15)
All the kingdoms of this world under Satan’s dominion of darkness, separate men into different classes, communities, cultures and nations to walk in the many different ways of death, handed down to us through the bloodlines of the fathers. (Proverbs 4:12) Each culture has their religions, their philosophies and their traditions of men, which have been generated into humanity through the mammon system by Satan’s rulers of the darkness. Men have no idea that they live under Satan’s dominion while they are in this world. We think it is normal because it is the way we are born. People with hearts that have waxed gross are people who walk in spiritual darkness. They will listen to the words of men and believe every lie they are told, but they will reject all the words of God and call it religion. Why is that? It is because they are spiritually blind and deaf to the voice of God’s word and trained by the god of this world to walk in the ways of death. (2 Corinthians 4:4) While we lay in the sun on the beach, we are lying in the dark of night within unto we come unto God in our hearts and the light of truth gets turned on. Everyone thinks they are “free to be me” while they are lost in the world and dead unto God. The Bible says that multitudes will be lost and only a few will be saved. What a sad state this world is in and the worst is yet to come, but the Bible says, “whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) We have all been born into a world that is governed by the unseen rulers of the darkness of this world. Humans have no idea that Satan rules this world from his exalted place in darkness. Satan rules over us in our evil thoughts, our attitudes of SELF and our natural ways of death. We think our thoughts are our thoughts, but they are really programmed into us by the god of this world through the lusts and desires of the flesh as we live by Satan’s self-program of SIN. In the beginning Adam gave his God-given dominion over planet earth and the human race to Satan through his disobedience unto God. After Adam’s separation from God, he and all his offspring (you and me) began to die. People think that the evil things that are going on in the world are just accidents that just happen. Yet the Bible says the whole world is full of the wickedness and is set on the fire of hell. (James 3:6)
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. (1 John 2:11)
What does Jesus mean when He says that we will be turned from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God by faith that is in Me? We are blind to spiritual things because we are born into this world of darkness under the dominion of Satan, thanks to first man Adam. As a blind person, our hatred towards the things of God causes us to walk in the darkness of the ways of death so that we don’t know where we are going spiritually. That is the power that Satan unleashed upon the human race when He stole the dominion from Adam, the first man with the whole human race in his loins. Jesus came as the second man from Heaven to take back the dominion over planet earth, to redeem us from Satan’s powers of death and and darkness, and to bring us back unto God so we can understand truth and truly live. Jesus wasn’t born of Adam like you and me. Jesus came from Heaven! He was born of the virgin without sin to redeem us from Satan’s powers of death. (Hebrews 2:14) Jesus wasn’t born with our spiritual nature of Sin. Jesus was born into this world with His divine nature. Jesus came from Heaven to destroy Satan’s powers of death over mankind, to take our spiritual nature of death and give us His spiritual nature of eternal life so we can go to Heaven and live with Him forever. He was the perfect man who never sinned. He fulfilled the Law of God for us. He gave His soul over to death as a ransom for all who will believe in Him. Jesus paid the price to deliver us from Satan’s powers of death, so we can go from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto God, that we might obtain an eternal inheritance by faith. (1 John 3:8)
And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind. Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also? Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains. (John 9:39-41)
Death isn’t what we think it is and neither is life. Death and life is more spiritual than it is natural. Your spirit doesn’t want to die and your spirit knows that without God you are not safe forever and sooner than you think, you are going to die and be lost forever unless you connect with the one true God who is your Heavenly Father. Until that happens, your heart and spirit will always fear and be restless until you know for sure that you are loved by God and that you are safe for eternity. While your soul just wants to have fun and be entertained, your spirit wants to live forever. He doesn’t want to perish and he knows his time is short. But our minds and our wills want to live for self and have fun playing in the ways of death to be our own gods because that is our spiritual nature passed down to us from the first man Adam. During our lives, God does little things with us to reveal Truth to us, to wake us up and make us face reality, but for many it is too late. (Ephesians 3:3) The devil has launched the “be your own god snare” into all of us, just like he did with old Adam. The human swallowed that lie; hook, line, and sinker, and for many people it’s over because their time has run out or their lives were snuffed out by an enemy. Yet there’s just this one thing that always pops up in the Bible; But God!

God calls the lifestyle of living without God “SIN.” I call the self-program that human uses to live his life without God; Satan In Nature. Sin is the spiritual nature of living without God to be our own gods. That is the spiritual nature of Satan whom the Bible says is “the God of this world of darkness.” In our separation from God we live to be our own gods, do our own will, and go our own way and live for SELF because that is the lifestyle that is fueled by the ways of death, designed by Satan and his spiritual rulers of the darkness of this world. (Ephesians 6:12) That is why we die, because we are born spiritually dead. We’ve been trained by the world to believe lies and to walk in the ways of death. Spiritual lies are the worst because what we perceive with the five senses can be directly against God even while it is normal to the human. The Bible talks about three levels of death, spiritual death, physical death and eternal death. We are all born spiritually dead unto God because we are separated from the Spirit of God thanks to the first man, Adam. (1 Timothy 5:6)
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5)
Death is a problem that man cannot solve which requires a supernatural solution only God can provide. Here is the good news! God has provided us with His solution to our death problem. God sent His only Jesus from Heaven to earth, oen our eyes, turn us from darkness to light, to redeem us from Satan’s dominion and deliver us from his powers of death. God is a good God and He wants to open our eyes unto the things of the Spirit so He can make us alive unto Him spiritually and truly live. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus has redeemed us from Satan’s dominion and powers of death, opening the gate of Heaven for us. Jesus didn’t deserve death just like we don’t deserve eternal life. Jesus fulfilled the perfect Law of God for us and in doing so He satisfied God’s divine justice and purchased God’s mercy unto us. All we have to do is believe in the redemption of Christ and His Spirit quickens our spirits to make us alive unto the power of God. Then through the Spirit of Christ in us, we can live a blessed life on earth and go to Heaven when we die. That is the good news of the Bible. Whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)
Death is not of God. There is no death in God. Satan is the author of self-program of sin and death. It was passed onto all humanity in his loins by the first man Adam. We are all born of Him as his progeny and we all inherit his spiritual nature of self and his eternal destiny of death. This was never a part of God’s original plan. Adam disobeyed God and the whole world within his loins, including you and me, were plunged into the spiritual darkness of Satan’s dominion. Death is an enemy of God and man. Death was never a part of God’s original plan. It is sad to say that multitudes, and even many of the people you know in your life, will pass away and be lost and spend eternity in Hell. That is your eternal destiny as a child of Adam. The disobedience of Adam unto God was credited to all his offspring including you and me. Adam gave his God-given dominion to Satan through his disobedience unto God. Of course that plan for humanity was inspired by Satan. Eternal separation from God (death) is not what God wants.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. (Ephesians 5:8)
God created the human race for the very purpose of enlarging His heavenly family. That is the Secret of Eternity. God had one son and He wanted more so He initiated the creation of the universe to serve as a foundation for planet earth. Then God created earth to give man a place to live. Then God created man to enlarge His heavenly family with an unlimited amount of children that He could love forever. That’s what fathers do and God is the greatest of all fathers. Jesus called God the heavenly father. Through His disobedience unto God, Adam gave His God-given dominion to Satan who then dragged the whole human family away from God in the crib. Spiritual death and darkness passed upon all humanity and physical death followed soon after, which initiates the spiritual judgment of eternal death in Hell forever. Hell was created for Satan and his fellows, not for man. But every soul that chooses to obey Satan rather than God will spend eternity with their father the devil. (John 8:44) God knew this would happen and He knew before creation what He would do. In response to Adam’s fall, God made Adam and us who were in his loins a promise. God’s first promise in the Bible was to Satan and all mankind in Adam’s loins. God’s first promise was that he would provide a conqueror to the devil and a deliverer to the world. God promised that He would send the messiah to defeat Satan and rescue us from the prince of darkness. (Genesis 3:15) God’s rescue of the Israelites from Pharaoh’s dominion through the Red Sea was His demonstration of how Jesus would deliver all believers from Satan’s powers of darkness and to bring them into His glorious light.
I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel. (Genesis 3:15)
Our death problem requires a supernatural solution that only God can provide. This passage of scripture was God’s first promise to Satan and Adam and the first sermon God ever preached to all humanity in Adam’s loins. He was saying, “I will put!” That means He is going to come from Heaven. He said “I will put enmity between you Satan and the woman!” That means that God is sending a messiah from Heaven and there will be a divine hostility, a holy war.” He said, “I will put enmity between you (Satan) and the woman, between your seed and her seed. That means Satan will be against women and the kids. In Old Testament times, Satan tried to pollute the bloodlines of humanity through demonic influence and it was such a fierce and wicked world that God had to destroy it before all the bloodlines could be contaminated to stop the pure promised seed from being born so God brought about the great flood and preserved the promised seed in the bloodline of Noah. Again Satan killed the kids in Egypt to keep the promised seed from being born. In the New Testament Satan killed the kids to keep the savior from being born into the world. But God preserved the seed of the virgin in Mary. Then it says “enmity between your seed and her seed.” That means a virgin is going to conceive. The seed comes from the male. The female receives the seed and carries the child. It is impossible for the female to conceive a seed. That means the promised one will be born of a virgin by the power of God. But that is impossible! All things are possible with God. This one born of the virgin will be the source of divine hostility from Heaven towards the rulers of the darkness of the world. Finally God said to Satan, “This one that comes from Heaven, even though you bruise His heel, He is going to crush your head.” That means that the one that comes from Heaven through virgin birth is going to take back the headship and authority of the dominion that Adam lost to Satan. Jesus is the promised seed of Abraham who has conquered death for us.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple. (Psalm 119:130)
Through the victory of His resurrection Jesus has provided all mankind with an open door into Heaven. Through faith in the words of God, we experience the new birth, which is the rebirth of the human spirit. We pass from the power of Satan through his dominion of the rulers of the darkness of this world into the kingdom of God’s marvelous light. He wants to shine the light of Truth into our hearts while we are walking in this world of spiritual darkness. The only way our eyes can be opened to see the light of Truth is through the words of God. (Hebrews 4:12-13) The words of God are alive and powerful with the Spirit of God and through His words God shines the light of revelation of Truth into our hearts. Jesus said, My words are Spirit and they are life. Heaven and earth will pass away but the words of God will never pass away. (Matthew 4:4, John 6:63, Matthew 24:35) The entrance of God’s words brings light into your heart. (Psalm 119:130) Just like God spoke the worlds into being, even so His words coming through your ears and eyes, into your heart and out of your mouth, brings us out of darkness and into His glorious light. (2 Peter 1:23, 2:9)
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. (1 Peter 2:9)
No human born of Adam deserves a free ticket to Heaven, but God accounts every soul that believes in Jesus Christ as righteous as Jesus in His sight and an heir of eternal life through receiving the Holy Spirit of Christ. Jesus paid the price of redemption for us by dying an undeserved death in our place so He could redeem our souls from Satan’s dominion and give us eternal life that we don’t deserve. Our redemption from Satan’s curse of dominion and powers of death through the death and resurrection of Christ is the gift of a just God who loves His kids. (Ephesians 1:5, Galatians 4:5-7) Time is running out! Very soon, time shall be no more, history shall come to an end and eternity shall begin. (Revelations 10:6) Time will be turned into eternity and you will have to be ready for the change if you are going to be saved from eternal destruction. God doesn’t want one person to be lost, and the good news is God has provided every soul with a way of escape from destruction. Jesus is the way, but it is sad to say, according to the Bible, more will be lost than those that shall saved. (Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 13:23-24)
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the first-fruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. (1 Corinthians 15:20-23)
This passage of scripture is the root statement of the death and life theme of truth in the Bible. This promised redeemer called Messiah was born of virgin birth (the seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15) so He didn’t have Adam’s sin nature. Jesus had God’s divine nature and all His life He obeyed God in His character, which qualified Him to be our redeemer. Jesus perfectly fulfilled the Law of God. which qualified Him to take our death penalty, and bring us back to God as we live by His Spirit through our obedience of faith. Just like the first man Adam generated the sin nature in us and we live by his sin nature until death, even so Jesus, the second man from Heaven, removed our sin nature through through His death and now He generates His divine nature in us to make us fit for Heaven as we learn to put on Christ and live by Him. (Romans 13:14) Through death the promised redeemer Jesus Christ destroyed God’s adversary the devil and took back the dominion from him and Christ will rule forever to the glory of God. Jesus is the one that historically came from heaven by virgin birth without sin. (John 1:6-18) Through death He has destroyed Satan’s powers of death over us. Jesus has taken back the dominion and conquered death for us and He now offers eternal life to all believers who believe in Him.
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, (Hebrews 2:14)
Jesus is alive. Jesus has risen from the dead and He has destroyed Satan’s power of death and dominion over man. We can never be too repetitious about this fact. As you read the words of God in the Bible, the light of truth will come on inside your heart and you will see Truth. (Psalm 119:130) The light of Truth will shine into your heart to dispel all the lies of the darkness you were born into. (Ephesians 6:12) As you learn about Truth you will realize that you are a spirit being with an eternal destiny and it is your responsibility to yourself and to others in your family to ensure their eternity in Heaven with the Heavenly father. As you seek out the Truth, God will open your eyes and guide you into all Truth. He will also show you things to come.
The spirit of a man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inner depths of his heart. (Proverbs 20:27) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! (Matthew 6:21-23)
Your heart is the candle of the Lord. The lamp of your spirit is your heart. God wants to shine the light of Truth into our hearts so we can truly live. The knowledge of God is not just knowledge that can be understood by our minds but it is a heart knowledge that can only be understood truly by our hearts because it is the nature of the heart to love and God is love. (1 John 4:7-10) Our hearts were darkened and our spirits were separated from God the moment Adam sinned and the light of the glory of God went out in His spirit. Ever since that dreadful event, every soul that has been born of Adam into planet earth has been born into spiritual darkness under the devil’s dominion with his group of the rulers of the darkness of this world. (Ephesians 6:12) Why is that? It is because we all were in Adam’s loins when He rebelled against God. We are everything Adam was. What happened to Adam happened unto all of us who are his offspring. It’s like that in politics. Whatever our president does in considered by other countries to be that which all the citizens of our country did. God promised to rectify the situation through the second man from Heaven. (Genesis 3:15)
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)
God fulfilled His first promise to our first parents. God sent Jesus from Heaven to earth by virgin birth to redeem mankind from Satan’s dominion and to destroy Satan’s power of the curse of sin and death over all humanity. (1 Corinthians 15:47) God promised the gift, God gave the gift and now God enforces His gift in our lives when we believe in Christ. Jesus is the new spiritual President that God has promised and it is only a matter of time before He takes his rightful place as king of kings. Jesus died our death and now He gives us His life as we believe ourselves into Him. As we follow Christ and walk by faith, we grow up in His divine nature as new creatures in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:7, 17) If you can see Christ in you then you are in the light. God will save believers from the destruction that is coming upon the world and bring them into His heavenly family. However all those who walk in darkness, that love the world and the things of the world and are still under Satan’s dominion, will be lost forever in Satan’s family.
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:18)
You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a earthly traveling tent called a physical body. (2 Corinthians 5:1) Just like we have natural eyes in our heads, we also have spiritual eyes in our hearts. Just like we are all born into this world as babes with our natural eyes closed, even so we are born into this world spiritually dead and blind to spiritual things because our spiritual eyes are closed to the things of the Spirit. (Matthew 13:15) Even though we can see natural things, we walk in spiritual darkness because we are born blind unto spiritual things. Our spiritual ears are also closed so we can’t hear God’s voice in His words. (Matthew 13:15) We are all born into this world deaf to God’s voice. (Romans 10:17) Our hearts are dead unto God so we can’t love like God loves. (Colossians 3:3-5) We will hear the voice of the world and instantly obey in order to be accepted by the world, but we can’t hear the words of God through Jesus Christ in the Bible except by faith. (Galatians 3:2) The power of Satan infected the first man Adam with his poison of the self-program of SIN and Satan’s spiritual nature of death has been passed down to us all through the bloodlines of the fathers. Satan has ruled over this world system of mammon ever since. (Ephesians 6:12) History bears record of the evil nature of man.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. (1 Peter 2:9)
God has the power to open the ears and eyes of your heart and quicken your dead spirit by His Spirit to make you alive unto God. Then you will have eyes and ears in your heart that can see and hear Truth for eternity. Then you will have a heart that wants to love and not just to live for a few moments of time to be our own gods for the pleasure of SELF. God gets His pleasure by revealing Himself unto us so we can depart from the ways death, draw near unto God and learn to walk in the light of Truth. The living God takes pleasure in making us alive spiritually so we can come out of darkness to walk in the light of Truth with Him by His Spirit. (John 16:12-15) Call upon Him with all your heart and He will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you don’t know. (Jeremiah 33:3)
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)
It is your responsibility to make sure that your spirit and soul are safe for eternity. Nothing is more important than that. You may lose a friend or two who love foolishness, but you will gain your soul forever? (Luke 9:25) There are a thousand things that can be used in this world to get your attention and waste your time that is ticking away before you die and are lost. You can call it pleasure or entertainment, etc. but the bottom line is if you lose your soul, you have lost everything. Time keeps on turning into the future and we are only on earth for a few minutes and then we pass away. God wants to open your eyes so you can see spiritually and live forever with Him. He has provided you with Jesus as your redeemer who will become your savior if you will invite Him into your heart right now.
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. (John 16:13)
Notice that seven times in this passage of scripture, the Holy Spirit is called He and Him. That means the Holy Spirit is a divine person. He guides! He speaks! He hears! He shows you things to come, etc. However He can’t help you unless you ask Him to. He can’t save even though He wants to without your permission. He has been with you all your life, dropping hints, nudging you here and there, trying to open your eyes. Then when something threatens our lives, we don’t know what to do but He is there. He was with you the day you were born and He has been with you all your life, but you wouldn’t listen to Him and now the truth has dawned on you and you are surprised.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. (1 John 2:15-17)
Multitudes of people are going to perish in Hell forever because they hate and despise the things of God and the truth of God and for what, for the love of a few earthly pleasures and a barrel of laughs? According to the Bible, multitudes are being lost today without any hope and are on their way to hell because they last thing they want to think about is the fact that there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun. We aren’t just physical beings but we are spirit beings in natural bodies who live without God in a natural world ruled by rulers of darkness. One day our bodies are going to get old and drop back into the ground from which it came, but our spirits and our souls are going to go to their eternal homes to live forever with their spiritual fathers, either their father Satan or their father God.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
Now what? You’ve have looked at the things which are not seen in this blog. If you are wise you will let God open the eyes of your heart and turn you from darkness to light so you can see truth, believe in the truth and enter into the light of truth which is eternal and brings you an eternal inheritance. You has no choice in your natural birth but if you are reading this blog, you have a choice about your spiritual birth. (John 3:4-8) You can be born again of the Spirit of God and receive God’s gift of eternal life through the Spirit of Christ in you. That is why Jesus died and rose again, to take your punishment and give you His divine nature of eternal life, because He loves you. Jesus couldn’t just sit in Heaven and watch you be destroyed by the devil and be lost forever. Jesus came to accomplish redemption for you that will now become your salvation. Why wait! Enter in through the gate right now. Call out to God with your heart! You can stand up and raise your right hand towards Heaven and with all your heart say words like these.
“Jesus, forgive me of sin. I believe you died upon the cross so that if I believe in you, I will not perish but have eternal life.” Thank you for taking my punishment for me so that I can be born of God. (John 3:16) I purpose in my heart to live for you and to receive your spirit into my heart. Come into my spirit and save me now. Open my eyes and turn me from darkness unto light? Heavenly Father I receive you in my heart in Jesus name. Heavenly Father, thank for you gift eternal life through Christ in me, in Jesus name I pray! Amen!”
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. (Psalm 18:28)
If you have raised your hand and have prayed that prayer or a prayer like that and you meant it with all your heart, The Bible says that Jesus has heard you and He has quickened you by His Spirit so that you have passed from Darkness to Light. (Revelation 3:20) In a split second, just like you were born into this world, you passed from death to life, from darkness unto light and it is eternal as the gift of God. Welcome into the family of God. Just like your earthly birth was a gift not by your will, even so eternal life in Heaven is God’s gift offered by God freely unto you and accepted by your own free will. It doesn’t matter what sin you have committed, If your heart sincerely regrets that sin and you want God to forgive you and cleanse you from all un righteousness, Jesus has paid the penalty of death on your behalf. The Bible says, He has heard you and quickened you by His Spirit to bring you into His heavenly kingdom of light. (John 6:63) As you continue to study the Bible and pray unto God in the name of Jesus, your eyes will continue to open and establish you in truth and you will be amazed.
Who will that all men shall be saved, and come unto the acknowledging of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:4)
You aren’t just a physical body walking around. God is a Spirit and you are a spirit being created in the image of God’s spirit. When you believe the words of God, His Spirit hovers above you and quickens your spirit so you can understand the truth of the things of the Spirit. Just like planting a seed into the ground that grows up into a tree, even so God has planted a seed in you that will grow you up into a tree of righteousness, the planting the Lord.
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified. (Isaiah 61:3)
Every word of God that you hear is a seed that gets planted by His Spirit into the ground of your spirit that slowly but surely grows up into a tree of righteousness. God loves everyone and He wants every soul on planet earth repent, to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:4)
And He went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then said one unto Him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And He said unto them to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. (Luke 13:22-24)
God wants everyone to be saved. God so loved you that He sent Jesus from Heaven to earth so that if you believe in Him, you shall not perish but have eternal life. What is it that we have to believe; that we are lost and doomed forever because of Adam, but we can return unto God and be saved because of the last Adam, Jesus Christ. If you give your heart and pledge your allegiance unto Him, He shall be pleased to welcome you into His heavenly kingdom of light where He is the King. Otherwise you will just remain in the kingdom of darkness until the time comes for you to perish. That time will come when you least expect it.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9:28)
In the light of God presence, you can SEE the truth, but in the darkness without God, truth is hidden from our eyes. God expects to see you in Heaven. Jesus shed His innocent blood has on your behalf and through death He destroyed Satan’s power of death and dominion over you should to make Heaven possible for you by the goodness of god and power of God. He is coming again to set down all authority and rule in this world and those who are eagerly waiting for Him, He shall save. Are you eagerly awaiting for His return or are you dreading that possibility. We should be eagerly awaiting for Him to take us into Heaven.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12;32)
Praise God forevermore. We are all passing away and this world is passing away but it gives God great pleasure to bring us unto Heaven. God is good and His mercy endures forever. (Psalm 136:1-9) God is the heavenly father and He is enlarging His heavenly family with more sons. (Galatians 4:4-5) God wants everyone to know that there is a hell to shun and a heaven to gain. Jesus has made it possible of you to make heaven your eternal home. Are you eagerly awaiting for His return? Whether we go to Him or He comes to us, we are going to praise God forever and ever. After all, isn’t that the way it should be?
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:13-14) But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7)
As we walk with God by faith in the light of truth and having our spirits cleansed in the blood of God’s own Son, we are changed into His very own image by the supernatural power of His Spirit. Can you see what I’m talking about or are you still blind? Hopefully this blog has been thought provoking for you.
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5-7)
If you get really honest with God in your heart, your eyes will open to the goodness of God so you can see the truth of redemption that Jesus provided to save you from death and bring you to Heaven. If you can see your sin nature inside you and agree with God about it, you have spiritual sight, but if you can’t see your sin nature and you don’t think you have a sin nature, then you are still blind and your sin remains. God is shining His light upon your heart. Are you eagerly awaiting for the Son of God to return and set down all rule and authority in this world? What do you see? Hopefully you have gone from darkness to light! The Apostle Paul once said, “He that runs the race, runs to win! Hopefully with the passages of scriptures in this blog, you can determine whether or not you are even in the race. (1 Corinthians 9:24-27)
