Gird Up My People, Word Up!

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; (1 Peter 1:13) 

Gird up my people, Word up! God commands us to gird up the loins of our mind. What does He mean by the phrase, “the loins of your mind?” This word is used is used only twice in the whole Bible. What is the loins of the mind? It is the place where truth of the Spirit is birthed from the heart into the mind. God births the truth in our hearts but Peter tells us we must birth and grow up, strengthen and gird up the truth in our minds. The greek word for the english word GIRD, is anazonnymi and it means;

“to bind about like the way you bind your pants onto your body with your belt. It means to brace up and take courage in face of the trials we are to go through.

To gird up the mind means, to bind up your mind with the sober truth of God, along with the hope of the goodness of Jesus Christ, that will come at the last moment when He manifests Himself unto you (I hope). Remember the ten virgins that Jesus came to and five of the ten He rejected because they had no oil of the Holy Spirit in them so they could enter into the light. The lies of the darkness of this world zoom like flies around our minds in this current evil generation. They are going to fly over your head but you should not let them light on your head. The demonic spirits of darkness will fly around your head like birds but you should not let them build a nest on your head. They will just eat the seeds of truth out of your heart and leave you with the mind of the world. (Matthew 13:1-16) Normal people don’t know what to believe. We have to train our minds to not believe what we read in the news. God has shown us in this generation how the devil programs the minds of all humans in the world with His good and evil lies. Any form of knowledge that is built upon th self-program is a lie. Satan’s self-program is the substitute for God’s son-program. The self-program ends in death but God’s holy son-program ends in eternal life,

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; (Ephesians 6:14)

Peter says in this passage of scripture that we all have to get the lies out and the truth of God in by girding up. Truth is the belt of your spirit. How do we gird up. Focus upon the truth that Christ is in me now. It is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me now. (Galatians 2:20) It’s either you or the Spirit of Christ that is living in you now. Jesus was your substitute in death was He not? Then that truth makes Him your substitute in life does it not? If Jesus is living in me now, who is it that is focused upon the things of the world? Who is it that is lusting after body parts? Who is it that is smoking and joking and hanging out with those that do? 

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (Ephesians 2:2)

Is that you or Jesus in there on the inside of your heart? Who’s voice are you listening to? Who told you “That man is a liar,” or “Isn’t she beautiful?” Who’s voice are you listening to, the voice of the Spirit of God or the voice of the devil who is masquerading as you? Those are the same two voices Adam and Eve heard in the Garden of Eden. The devil’s voice talke to us in the mind, using outward things to justify his lies. (John 8:44) God’s voice speaks truth. Are you still a child of the devil and are you still listening the voice of the evil one, the spirit that works in the children of disobedience or are you now the child of God who listens to the voice of the Holy Spirit in the words of God as you are growing up into a son of God?

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2) 

Gird Up my People, Word Up! That is the message for this MESS-age, Word Up! You must be transformed or otherwise you will be conformed. This world isn’t in line with God’s eternal plan and God says, “Don’t be conformed to this world. (Romans 12:2) If you don’t put on the belt of truth and gird up the loins of your mind, you will be lost because the devil is walking to and fro all over the earth like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8) There is a shaking going on and an eruption is about to begin throughout the whole world, just as it is in the spirit realm and as you learn to walk by faith and not by sight, (2 Corinthian 5:7) the Spirit of God will work together with you (Romans 8:28) and transform you, confirming His word with signs and wonders following. (Mark 16:20) God works together with those who are walking in His supernatural word of Truth. This is not a gloom and doom message, but this is an arise and shine message. The Bible says God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) God’s rewards may just depend on the level of the word you have in your heart at this time. What are you listening to, the words of the world or the words of the word of God?

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:10-18)

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) 

Let us now Word Up as we fill ourselves with the thoughts of the living God, which are generated by His words. As we absorb His thoughts with our minds, we realize they are much higher than our thoughts. God’s words teach us who we are in Christ and what Christ can do through us. They also teach us that God is the God of promises, blessings and covenant. God has provided all things that pertain unto life and godliness though Jesus Christ to make it possible for us to win by believing, speaking and doing the words of God. (Luke 4:4)

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. (James 1:21) 

Put off, cast out, lay aside, and purge yourself of the programming that you have received from devil and his family called the world. They use the news to be told what to believe, but as believers in Christ we use the good news of the words of God in the Bible to put on the armor of God. As we engraft the words of Jesus into our souls, we become one with Him. By renewing our minds with God’s thoughts, which are higher than the heavens, we put on Christ and are transformed as we learn to live by Him. (Romans 13:14) He has provided us with Christ as our spiritual armor and His words are called the sword of the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:17-18) He has promised great rewards to those that overcome. (Revelation 21:7-9)

It is the Spirit the quickens, the flesh profits nothing, the words I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63)

Speak these Scriptures out loud and word yourself up in His word of Truth. (Ephesians 5:19) As you speak the words of God out loud, your eyes will be opened to the Spirit realm even as Adam and Eve’s eyes were opened to the natural (life without God) realm.

1. I shall reign in life by one Christ Jesus. (Romans 5:17)
2. I am not looking at the things that are seen, but at the things which are not seen. (2 Corinthians 4:18)
3. I am walking by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
4. I am casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. (2 Corinthians 10:5)
5. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
6. I am rooted and grounded in love because Christ dwells within me. (Ephesians 3:17)
7. I am the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus unto good works that God has ordained for me to walk in. (Ephesians 2:10)
8. I am a partaker of His divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4)
9. I am prosperous and in good health, even as my soul is prospering. (3 John 2)
10. I am being transformed by the renewing of my mind to prove the the excellence of the perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)
11. By His stripes I am healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
12. I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ who indwells me. (Romans 8:37)
13. I am the salt of the earth, and the light of the world. (Matthew 5:13a, 14a)
14. In Christ Jesus I am complete. (Colossians 2:10)
15. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10)
16. By the shield of faith I am quenching all the fiery darts of all my spiritual enemies and by the power of God, nothing shall by any means hurt me. (Ephesians 6:16)
17. I am letting all my requests be made known unto God in prayer because He hears me and I am receiving those things that I am asking for. (Mark 11:24)
18. I am like a tree planted by the plentiful rivers of water and everything I do prospers because Christ dwells in me. (Psalm 1:3)
19. I am filled with the Spirit of the Lord and my body is the dwelling place of His Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19)
20. God has given me exceeding great and precious promises, and by them I partake of His divine nature and through Christ in me, I have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:4)
21. I am led by the Spirit of God, therefore I am a Son of God. (Romans 8:14)
22. I am walking not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Romans 8:1)
23. All my needs are met according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus because he cares for me. (Philippians 4:19)
24. I am casting all my cares upon Him because I know He supernaturally cares for me. (1 Peter 5:7)
25. I am blessed with faithful Abraham with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places through Christ in me. (Ephesians 1:3)
26. I am blessed when I come in, and blessed when I go out, in the field and in the city. (Deuteronomy 28:6)
27. I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ, who is the heir of all things. (Romans 8:17)
28. I am increasing and abounding in love and I have peace that passes all understanding through Christ in me. (1 Thessalonians 3:12)
29. By the power of God I am being made perfect in every good work to do God’s will. (Hebrews 13:21)
30. In my heart and in my life I am showing forth the praise of God. (Psalm 51:15)
31. Ye are of God little children and it doesn’t appear what we shall be, but we know that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

I am the LORD, and there is none else; apart from me, there is no God. I will strengthen you, though thou hast not known me. (Isaiah 45:5)

Word Up, my People! Word Up! Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10) He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in the ways of God and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Psalm 91:11) Do you believe that?

Behold, I’ll give you power over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19)

You are a God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

Remember your calling. You are Jesus’ brothers and sisters and you have authority in the earth from Him over Satanic forces (serpents and scorpions) and the greater one dwells in you. Jesus has commanded us to decree His will and take authority over the devil and all his cohorts. So we declare the words of God on Jesus’ behalf and that puts His holy angels to work on our behalf.

Truly I say to you, whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 18:18)

The power that Adam gave Satan over the human race, Jesus has taken back for us and now we can reign in life through Christ in us. Jesus has conquered Satan, death and hell for us that we might live onto God by faith. Renew your mind to think the words of God and believe He is with you. Refuse to be defeated and don’t give up or quit. By faith, speak the words of God to your mountains, to your enemies, to your circumstances, to any diseases in your body, to your bills, to your family, and believe the things you are saying in Jesus name shall come to pass. (Mark 11:23-24)

And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Revelation 12:11 )

Remember the blood of Jesus is sprinkled upon your believing heart and when you speak the words of God in faith, it is the same as God speaking. The devil hears God speaking and the angels hear God speaking when you declare the words of God with faith in Jesus’ name. We overcome the devil by decreeing the words of God in Jesus’ name, trusting in the blood of Jesus to cleanse us of sin and the Spirit of God to quicken us, knowing we are dead unto sin and alive unto God through Christ in us. (Romans 6:11) It does not say we loved not our lives until death. It says we loved not our lives onto the death (of the sinful flesh nature).

But without faith it is impossible to please him, for either comes to God must read the reviews, and that he is also a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

As you Word Up (speak God’s words in faith), God sees Christ in you and He is pleased. He sees that you love not the self-sin nature any longer so He is very pleased. He hears your faith in Him to bless you and not your faith in the devil to curse you or destroy you. As you Word Up (speak God’s words in faith) God hears Christ in you and He is very pleased. Can you see and hear what the Spirit is saying unto you now? Seven times in the book of Revelation, God says He will reward those that overcome and each reward is another different realm of glory.

To him that overcomes, to him I will give to each of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. He that has an ear to hear, let Him hear what the Spirit is saying. (Revelation 2:7)

What is it we are supposed to overcome unto death? It is anything that stands in the way between you and God. We are learning to live by Christ in us and we see His divine nature growing in us by faith. God‘s covenant with us is sealed in the blood of Jesus and nothing shall break God’s covenant with us through Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:19)

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33:)

God gave you life and God will give you eternal life if you ask Him to. He said when you call upon Him with your heart, He will hear you and answer you and He will show you spiritual things. Don’t just believe everything you hear anymore. Don’t just speak the words of the world. Speak the words of God out loud in Jesus name. Call upon God in Jesus name with all your heart and He will answer you. Believe the words of God as He brings them back to your remembrance. Trust in the Lord and He shall bring your hope to pass. All things are possible with God. Call out unto God in Jesus’ name and watch the blessings of Abraham descend upon you.

He that overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (Revelation 21:7)

Believe the truth. Speak the words of God. Take authority over the devil in Jesus name. Watch and Pray always. Declare the victory of Christ over Satan, sin, and death on our behalf. Believe that the things you declare in Jesus name shall come to pass!

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
(Matthew 24:35)

Word Up with the living word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit! Hear the voice behind His words. He will open your eyes to the truth you should know and guide you in the way that you should go. (Psalm 32:8) God wants us to win and He has provided Jesus for us so we can win. He that overcomes shall inherit all things. (Revelation 21:7, Proverbs 3:35)

Behold, Thou desirest Truth in the inward parts (your soul), and in the hidden part (your heart) thou shalt make me to know wisdom. (Psalm 51:6)

You don’t know what shall happen tomorrow. It is said, “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is the gift of God. That’s why we call it the present.” What are you really seeking for is Truth For Eternity.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33:3)

As you call out to God with the hidden part of your heart, He will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not. Word Up, my people! Word Up with the word of the living God. Today is the day of salvation and now is the accepted time for you to call upon God and receive eternal life from Him. (2 Corinthians 6:2) Tomorrow may never come. (James 4:14)
