What Happened?
We Died! That’s what happened! What? Yes, before you were born, we died! I know you don’t get it now but you will if you keep reading. The Bible tells us what happened! Thousands of years ago, a great catastrophe took place that affected all creation, the whole human race and even history itself. It impacted you and me and every soul ever born, forever. In the Garden of Eden, the place called paradise, a great evil took place that brought destruction into the universe. At the very cradle of the human race, with God watched as we died! We’ve been dying ever since. Does that sound strange to you? This is one of the foundation lessons of the Bible. If you can’t understand this, you are a long way from walking in the miraculous like God wants you to. The whole Bible is about Death and Life. Those who don’t understand are still under the influence of the Great Lie of Satan and are in need of the power of God to come to their rescue.
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth. … (1 Timothy 5:6)
The Great Lie became reality for all humanity, but even though it seems real, it is still the Great Lie. Jesus talked about it alot. We think we are alive and are going to die. Nothing could be further from the truth! The Bible reveals to us that we are already dead and we are going to die and if we are dead when we die, we will be dead forever. I remember in my mid twenties when I first realized this. I didn’t know much about the Bible but I was searching for the truth which is eternal. I had been studying all the religions of the world and I was getting worn out with it. One day I was standing in the midst of a health food store and my eyes were opened. I said it out loud. I said, “I’m already dead.” From that day on my search for truth intensified and ultimately I landed in the pages of the Bible staring at truth for eternity. I came to realize that Death was never a part of God’s original plan. Death is an enemy of God and man. God doesn’t want any of His creatures to die. God has even made provision for every soul to live and not die. The very first thing God talked about in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve was about death. It’s also the very first thing God wants to talk to you about. This is the lesson that opens the eyes and turns us from darkness to light. The truth is you were there in the Garden of Eden. Death came into planet earth through the first man Adam. What happened to Adam and Eve happened to you. Do I have your attention?
First things come first and what happened in the Garden of Eden is one of the first lessons of the Bible that everyone needs to learn. A good beginning is required for there to be a good ending. All through history, the futures of countries have been decided by one man. He might be called a king or a president, but the principle was the same in the Garden of Eden. Adam was the first man, the head of the human race. He was the one that decided what our spiritual nature would be. Adam decided our eternal destinies for us. One man’s decision affected the whole creation and it still affects us today. Adam decided to believe the Great lie that man can be his own god, do his own will, go his own way and live for SELF, while building a whole new world order without God. Adam’s decision affected the whole human race because the whole human race was in Adam’s loins. Adam separated the whole human race from God and when that happened, He died and every soul within Adam’s loins, including you and me, died. From then on until now, every soul born of Adam is born spiritually dead. That is why we die, because we are already spiritually dead. That was never what God originally intended. Did God fail? Absolutely not!
Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’; Isaiah 46:10
God does everything for His purpose and God never does anything without accomplishing His purpose. God knows the end result before it even begins. God wasn’t caught off guard. God created man to enlarge His heavenly family. Then man listened to the voice of the stranger and walked away from God. They decided to build a whole new world order without God and when they did, they separated from God and died spiritually. Imagine yourself as parents, having your first child who will carry on your family name and take over your family business, only to stand there at the cradle and watch your child die. That is what happened with God. Adam brought death into the race and mankind has lived under the curse of Satan’s dominion and powers of death ever since. A natural transaction took place between Satan and Adam and a spiritual war began that brought a curse upon the universe. That curse also came upon you and me. The universe and the human race became the pawns in an eternal game of war. This fact is one of the great foundation lessons of the Bible.
But of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2:17)
God said “The day you eat you will surely die.” The phrase “surely die,” is the plural Hebrew word, “mut, mut.” It means you will “die, die,” or “in “dying you shall die.” It is a plural word which means there are multiple stages to death. There is spiritual death, physical death and eternal death. Adam died the moment he disobeyed God and when he died, we all died. You’ve got it right? Unlike mere religion, the Bible historically documents everything from the beginning origins to the final results, the things that affected the human race. The Bible goes into great detail about what happened in the Garden of Eden, how it happened, how it affected the human race, how God got involved in our situation, what God did about it and how everything will end. Did God fail? Absolutely not! Death is a problem that is impossible for man to solve, which requires a supernatural solution that only God can provide. This is where mere religion falls flat. Religion cannot fix the death problem. No religion designed by man or angel has ever fixed the death problem. Nobody wants to die, but we will unless we return and connect with God again. God allowed man to SIN and DIE because God is love and any relationship with Him established in the obedience of Love. God knew what would happen before creation and God knew what He would do. God has provided the solution to our death problem, through His only Son, Jesus Christ.
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: (Genesis 3:2)
Observe God’s picture in the beginning a little longer and understanding will come to you. In the Garden of Eden they had it all. For them Life was a Paradise. Adam and Eve walked in the presence of God. They were covered in light and crowned with the glory of God. They lacked for nothing. This is a picture of the way life was supposed to be. It was supposed to last forever. Adam and Eve were given the opportunity to put on immortality in the Garden of Eden by eating of the Tree of Life. They disobeyed God and obeyed Satan. In their obedience to Satan, God’s enemy, they committed high treason against God. In their separation, the Paradise of fellowship with God was lost and God took away their opportunity to eat of the Tree of Life to keep them from eating and being separated from Him forever. The things that are recorded in the book of Genesis are not Bible stories. They are natural historical events, which God has documented to be eternal spiritual lessons for us today and throughout eternity. We teach about these things in our book, “Secret of Eternity.”
And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3:15)
As soon as Adam and Eve realized they had a death problem they hid from God in fear and shame. That is our spiritual nature today until we hear the good news of how God has provided redemption for us, God made them this first promise to fix the death problem of them and all their unborn children including you and me. This promise belongs to them and every human ever born since. When Adam disobeyed God, it affected the whole universe. A curse came upon all creation and upon the human race. Death has reigned over mankind and all creation ever since. Death was never a part of God’s original plan. Death is an enemy of God and man. Did God fail, absolutely not? Did God make a mistake, absolutely not? What Happened in the Garden of Eden? Didn’t God know what Adam and Eve would do? Of course He did. Why would God put a poison tree that bears deadly fruit in the midst of the Garden of Paradise? That is one of the lessons of the Bible. Why wouldn’t God protect the Garden of Eden? He did. He put Adam in the Garden to dress and keep (protect) it. Why would God allow Satan to come into the Garden of Eden? Why is it Adam and Eve’s decision would affect you and me? Why is it Adam and Eve’s decision still affects you and me today? Why would God allow the curse of Death to come upon the creation and the human race? Is there a solution to man’s Death problem? The human standard of the carnal mind is to think; I need all these answers to my questions before I will do anything! God wants to give us all the answers. He always did. Yet God doesn’t just give all the answers at first. He is God and we are not. God doesn’t have a problem He can’t fix. God doesn’t have any problems at all. Man has a problem which is impossible for him to solve that requires a supernatural solution that only God can provide. The problem is Death and God’s solution to man’s Death problem is Life. However, God’s life solution doesn’t work the way the carnal mind supposes, which causes a lot of questions. God wants us to know all the answers. That is why God wrote His book called the Bible, to give us the answers to all our questions, to tell us about the magnitude of the death problem and to show us His divine solution. Every question that can be asked by the human has already been answered by the words of Jesus. This promise God made them in (Genesis 3:15) is the theme of the Bible. God has been historically working to fulfill His promise to mankind.
Our book, Secret of Eternity, breaks many of these things down, line upon line, precept upon precept, in an elementary way, to help you understand the Bible and give you a spiritual foundation for understanding the truth about eternal life. This subject is the first course that should be offered in any Bible School, because all Bible doctrines are founded upon what happened in the beginning with the first man in the Garden of Eden who was the progenitor of the human race. Without understanding what happened in the Garden of Eden, our knowledge of spiritual things will only be limited to forgiveness of sins and Heaven when you die. But there is so much more God wants to reveal to us so we can understand the Bible. Easter reminds us that out of death comes life. However, the reason why it has to be that way, generates an unlimited amount of questions for which answers can only be found in the Bible. This knowledge also provides many other benefits for every day life.
Throughout the Centuries, many questions have risen to challenge why God would allow Evil. Here are answers to some of those questions!!!
Didn’t God know what Adam and Eve would do?
Yes God knows everything. The Bible says God knows the end from the beginning. God knew what Adam and Eve would do before creation, but that doesn’t mean God should’ve changed His perfect plan. That is like saying “I don’t want to have kids because they will mess up my perfect little life.” God immediately got involved in their problem. God’s involvement in our lives is part of the LIFE solution to our death problem. What Adam and Eve did centuries ago was a thousand times worse than you think. They didn’t just eat of the forbidden tree. What they did was horrible. They believed a lie and rebelled against God. They submitted to Satan as their god instead of the creator who is blessed forever. They sold the human race to Satan, a fallen angel, to have a party forever with a false god. In doing so they brought a curse upon planet earth and upon the whole human race. Their choice affected every human ever born of Adam. Death has reigned over mankind ever since. Why has Death reigned over man ever since? That is a great question, one you will come to understand as you read our book, “You Can Be A Son, Secret of Eternity.”
What Happened in the Garden of Eden?
Did God just allow the curse to come upon all creation because they ate of the forbidden fruit? God told them what would happen before they decided to enjoy the pleasures of SIN and give their dominion to an enemy of God. If the fruit was poison, why didn’t they die right away? The forbidden fruit wasn’t poison, but it was cursed. It wasn’t just their act that activated the curse but it was also their choice that activated the curse upon the creation. God’s creation of the universe and the race was just the beginning. There was another phase that man was supposed to go through in order to become immortal. Everything God does is eternal, yet God does things in stages. God created man in His image and likeness. That means the human has the ability to make decisions and reproduce after their kind in an unlimited way. God blessed Adam and Eve and gave them dominion over the creation and their destiny was dependent upon their response to God’s program. Adam and Eve disobeyed God. One of the first lessons of the Bible is this; Disobedience to God always results in death. What happened in the Garden of Eden was a natural act that had spiritual effects when it should have been a spiritual act that would’ve had natural effects.
Why would God put a poison tree that bears deadly fruit in the midst of the Garden of Paradise?
This particular tree wasn’t poison, but it was cursed. It was a forbidden tree because it represents the knowledge that comes to all creatures who choose to live life without God. Knowledge without God is dead and is limited to mere thoughts. Thinkers think that some day all this thinking will turn into action of spiritual satisfaction but it doesn’t. The carnal mind is not the part of the human which gathers spiritual knowledge and does the will of God. The Spirit brings a spiritual mind and causes a spontaneous flow of thoughts and has nothing to do with what the natural mind thinks about. The brain is only an analytical, calculating memory device through which knowledge is acquired or thought about. The will of the human initiates action and God provided the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden to trigger their choice of how they were going to live life, either by the SIN nature of the SON nature.
The Two Trees in the midst of the Garden represented the two choices of every creature to “live by knowledge of the ways of death or to LIVE by the Truth of the Spirit of God. They were supposed to eat of the Tree of Life. God had to put the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden in order to remind us that there is a principle of evil in the universe. This principle of evil operates in the premise of Knowledge without God in order to be your own god. This was the spiritual nature of the devil. The Two Trees teach us God’s lessons of the spiritual principles of the disobedience of Death and the obedience of Life. God put both trees in the Garden of Eden in order to teach man that disobedience is the lifestyle of death and obedience is the lifestyle of eternal life. Death is the lifestyle of living life without God to be your own god. Life is the lifestyle of walking with God and developing His divine nature in our hearts through obedience to Him as Sons of God. The whole purpose of creation is God’s desire to enlarge His Heavenly Family that He can love forever and the first lesson God gives the creature in the Garden of Eden is the lesson of Death and Life, and in that order. This is the theme of the Bible. All the lessons of the Bible can be summed up in the overall lesson of Death and Life. Why do I say “Death and Life” rather than “life and death? I say it because every human is born spiritually dead in the natural man, which chooses to live for SELF rather than God. That is why we physically die because we are born spiritually dead. If you are living life without God, you are spiritually dead, which works in us the process of physical death. If we are spiritually dead when we physically die, then ultimately we will experience eternal death, which is separation from God forever. God doesn’t want that and neither do we. If you are living your life in the presence of God, you have been made alive unto God and you are alive forevermore.
In our book, Secret of Eternity, we talk about the three levels of death. They are spiritual death, physical death and eternal death. We think that we are alive and we are going to die, but the Bible teaches that we are already dead and that is why we die. Because of our first parents, we are born spiritually dead, and from the day we are born we begin our journey towards physical death. If we are spiritually dead when we physically die, we will be dead forever. Did God fail? NO! Death was never a part of God’s original plan. Death is an enemy of God and man. God has provided a remedy for our death problem through His only Son that He sent from Heaven to become the last Adam and provide eternal redemption for us. This is the message for this MESS-age. This is the overall theme of the Bible. However there is a secret of the Bible which can never be discovered by the carnal mind. It is the Secret of Eternity, which can only found in the Bible.
Why wouldn’t God protect the Garden of Eden?
God did provide protection for the Garden of Eden. Adam was appointed by God to protect the Garden of Eden. God blessed Adam and commanded him to dress the Garden and KEEP it, which means to guard and protect it. However, Adam chose to commit treason against God and do his own will instead of God’s will. Unfortunately, Adam’s choice was the wrong choice and his disobedience brought the death nature to all his unborn kids, which include you and me. God gave Adam and Eve the freedom to choose Death or Life and He still does that with us. God gives us today the same freedom He gave them. We all have the same choice Adam and Eve had. We can live our lives without God or we can walk with God and live forever. Jesus made this possible for us. Now is always the time for you to make your choice. Tomorrow is already here.
Why would God allow Evil and why would God allow Satan to come into the Garden of Eden?
Some people think; God was foolish to allow evil in His universe. This is false. Evil is the simple practice of the human living his life without God to be his own god and striving against God’s purpose. God allowed the human to freely choose his eternal destiny. He chose evil and God respected his decision. Adam’s decision affected every soul ever born. However, God has made provision for every soul ever born of Adam. His gift to us is eternal life through His only Son who died upon the Cross as your substitute and suffered God’s divine judgement in your behalf. Have you received your gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ? Others think, Satan tricked them into making the wrong choice. This is true. Satan lied to Adam and Eve but the Bible says Adam wasn’t deceived. The lesson here is we can be deceived into making the wrong choice or we can willfully make the wrong choice but the consequences are the same. Some may think; “well, that isn’t fair.” However, the issues of eternity don’t depend upon what is fair. Eternity is forever and even though our choices only take one second, they affect us forever. Satan is the one who tells us the lies of the world that affect us forever but we still have the choice of who we are going to believe. Jesus called Satan “the father of lies.” So every lie that has ever been devised finds its origin in Satan. The Bible says “it is impossible for God to lie.” Jesus said to Pontius Pilot, “For this reason I left Heaven and came to earth, to bear witness to the Truth. Everyone that is OF THE TRUTH hears my voice.” In the end everything will boil down to one issue of eternity; did you believe God or the devil?
Why is it Adam and Eve’s decision would affect you and me?
They made the wrong decision. They decided to live life without God. Their decision affected you and me because we were all in Adam’s loins. We talk about this in great detail in our book; Secret of Eternity. Every human being ever born (except one) is the offspring of Adam. You were in your father before you were born just as your father was in his father before he was born all the way back to Adam. The whole human race is the spiritual progeny of our natural father Adam. They didn’t just eat of the cursed tree. They obeyed Satan and disobeyed God and in their disobedience they were separated from God. When the creature is separated from the creator, he is dead. It is not God that giveth and God that taketh away, but God that gave and the creature that took it away.
Why is it Adam and Eve’s decision STILL affects you and me?
The reason is because you were there when Adam and Eve sinned against God. What happened to them happened to you and me. We were all in it together. Their sin was our sin. Their separation from God became our separation from God. We were in Adam’s loins when they made their decision and everything that happened to them happened to us. When they disobeyed God, you disobeyed God. When they walked away from God, you walked away from God. When they were separated from God, you were separated from God. When they were condemned forever, you were condemned forever. When they became sinners, you became a sinner. When they died spiritually, you died spiritually. That is why we die physically. Spiritual Death is what causes Physical Death. The whole human race was within Adam’s loins and we all inherited their spiritual nature and consequences. That is why religion doesn’t fix the spiritual problem, but only makes things worse. Religion makes man work to please God, but man can never please God because his nature is wrong. God must give us a new nature to make us compatible with Him and fit for Heaven forever. That is only accomplished through the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Through Christ in us we become right with God. His death FOR US accomplished the forgiveness of our sins and His resurrection life imparts TO US His divine nature as we believe in Him. Religion tells man what he must do for God and he must hope it works, but the Bible tells man what God has already done for him and God’s supernatural power guarantees that it works.
Why would God allow the curse of Death to come upon the creation and the human race?
The answer is: He didn’t! Adam did! Everything God did was perfect. After God created the universe and the human race, the Bible says He stood back and observed His work and He said; “It is good.” Everything God does is always good. Without God the creation is cursed. History records the evil and wickedness of man, whose spiritual nature is the result of Adam’s choice to live life without God to be his own god. In the beginning, God gave the first Adam dominion over the creation. God did His job. Adam didn’t do his job. Adam gave the whole creation over to a rogue fallen angel called Satan, just like some rulers over countries do today in our natural world. God gave Adam that dominion and freedom and Adam chose to commit high treason against God. God knew all along what would happen and He knew also what He would do in response. This is the theme of the whole Bible.
Is there a solution to man’s Death problem?
THAT IS WHAT THE BIBLE IS ALL ABOUT. Death is a spiritual problem that man cannot solve, which requires a supernatural solution only God can provide. God planned long before creation to deal with man’s death problem. Just as God provided the first Adam through which He could enlarge His Heavenly family, God planned to provide the last Adam, Jesus Christ, through which He would redeem fallen man from the curse of death. After Adam chose to live by the spirit of disobedience, God immediately got involved. In Genesis 3:15, God promised them, and us, a solution from Heaven. The whole Bible is built upon the first promise of Genesis 3:15 and God’s goodness to keep His promise to us. Get Genesis 3:15 into your head and the truth will begin to drop into your heart.
I will put enmity between Her and Thee and between HER SEED and thy seed, You shall bruise his Heel and He shall crush your head. Gen. 3:15
After the fall of man God made the promise. He told them and Satan, “I will put.” This means the solution will come from Heaven. It also means God didn’t need our help. He said, “I will put enmity.” This means the savior which will come from Heaven will deal violently with Satan and take back the dominion by force.” He said, “I will put enmity between thee and the woman.” This means the warfare will be between Satan and the weakest form of humanity, the woman. He said, “I will put enmity between you and her, between your seed and her seed.” This means the seed of the woman will be a child born of a virgin. The female has no seed. Only the male has the seed. So the seed of the woman is one born of God. Some people find it hard to believe that God could create a man out of a woman, but think about this; God also created a woman out of the first man Adam. Finally, He said, “You will bruise His heel but He will crush your head.” This means the savior that will come from Heaven by the power of God, will come through a virgin and He will take the dominion over creation away from you and destroy your power of death over mankind. The whole Old Testament is a picture of God walking through time reminding them of the promise and developing His plan through them that would believe and obey Him. The Old Testament is God’s pictures to us of how He is going to fulfill His promise and the New Testament is God’s explanations of how He fulfilled His promise through His only son Jesus Christ. It is finished and can’t be undone forever. God has accomplished His plan and He has fulfilled His promise. Death has no more sting and the grave has no more victory, to them that truly believe. However, God still leaves the decision of who we will believe and serve up to us.
It Is Finished
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
The answer and fulfillment to the promise of Genesis 3:15 is John 3:15-16. God has historically kept His promise to the human race. God has sent us the Last Adam. The Son of God came from Heaven to Earth to destroy Satan’s power of death over the human race and to redeem us from the curse of sickness, poverty and death. He came to save us spirit, soul and body. Jesus has historically conquered death for us to make it possible for us to be made partakers of His divine nature, compatible with God and fit for Heaven. God’s plan of redemption is finished and can’t be undone. Now God calls upon every human being to believe and receive the power of God through His only Son. Jesus Christ has historically risen from the dead and is alive forever FOR US. Now is the day of Salvation. The price is paid and the doors of Heaven are open to all who will come back to God. Just like we were born of the first Adam, we can be born again of the Last Adam, which is Jesus Christ.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God John 3:3
Just as we were born into this world and partake of our father Adam’s spiritually dead nature, even so we must be born again of the Last Adam, Jesus Christ and become partakers of His divine nature. All are invited but the Bible says few will receive God’s wonderful gift of eternal life through Christ in us. The Bible says all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. Rom.10:13
TAKE, EAT AND LIVE
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Genesis 3:2
In this passage of scripture we find the hints of God as to how He will supernaturally solve our spiritual problem. God put Adam and Eve (and therefore the whole human race) out of the Garden so they wouldn’t eat of the Tree of Life and live forever by the Spirit of disobedience under the curse of Death. He was giving them Grace by doing that. God knew He would send the Savior who would bring them to the Tree of Life the right way. Now that the savior has come and has overcome death for us, the invitation is the same way in reverse. We must take what God is offering, eat what God has provided and Live by the Life that flows with His divine nature. That is the only way we become right with God and fit for Heaven.
TAKE
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6-7
Bonnie once said to me, “set your alarms. I won’t ask you again.” She is like a spiritual trainer. We all need one. God has done the same for us. The Bible says God commands men everywhere to repent and come to a knowledge of the Truth. He isn’t bound to beg us. Either do what God says now or suffer tomorrow when the alarms fail to go off and you are too late for Heaven. God is saying the same to you now. God always talks to us in the perspective of NOW. The Bible says, “Now is the day of Salvation.” Tomorrow is often the busiest day of the year. The devil will always tell us, “there’s always tomorrow.” You will many times not do it at all. The truth is tomorrow is already here. Living life in the presence of God is a NOW attitude. The Bible calls it Faith. When Jesus said “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, He is saying do it NOW. You may not be here tomorrow. God says to you right now TAKE. God has made the Heavenly provision and now that you know about it, Take it. If you want to wait you are saying something else is more important right now. That disrespect towards God is a seed of death that will eventually become a way of death. Eternal life is the gift of God but you must TAKE it by choice before it can become yours. If you won’t choose Him, you are not worthy of His gift.
EAT
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:2
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 2:7
Just like God told Adam and Eve to eat of the proper tree in the beginning, even so He tells us we must eat spiritual food in order to have eternal life. Jesus IS the Tree of Life. Jesus has conquered death for us so we might be able to put on immortality and walk with God as a member of God’s Heavenly family. Jesus said, I am the living bread that came down from Heaven that a man may eat and not die. Jn.6:48-51 He also said, He that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live and he that lives and believes in me shall never die. Jn.11:25
AND LIVE
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. John 6:57
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20
Jesus was our demonstration model. Jesus was the perfect man, the god man. Jesus lived the lifestyle of Obedience to His Heavenly Father. He did nothing without God. He said nothing without God. He went nowhere without God. Jesus always walked in the presence of God. Three times it is mentioned in the Bible God spoke from Heaven saying, “This is my son in whom I am well pleased, so follow His example.” Jesus said just as He lived by the Father, even so we LIVE BY HIM. It isn’t that we live for Him, but we live BY Him. The lifestyle of Living By the spiritual man, the Last Adam crucifies the Life of the natural man, the First Adam. As we live by Jesus, we go through the change. We go from living by the first Adam’s spiritual nature to living by the last Adam’s spiritual nature.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Colossians 3:9-11
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:26-29
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
God is still enlarging His Heavenly family just as He originally planned. He’s having more sons. In Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female, neither bond nor free, neither male nor female, but a new creature and a new race. God calls them sons. The Son walks with the Father and does nothing without the Father. This was the beginning picture of paradise in the book of Genesis and it is the final picture of the Father and His family at the end in the book of Revelation. Sonship is the highest level of Life in all creation. You are invited. Every soul has been invited. Is your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? Will you receive God’s Heavenly gift? If you refuse the gift, you also refuse the giver of the gift and the power of God in the heavenly gift. The choice is yours. Do it now! Take, Eat and Live forever.
Why Will Only a Few Believe and Receive God’s Wonderful Gift?
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Jn. 3:19-21
Herein lies the issue between God and man. This includes you and me. God has punished His only son in our place. He was perfect and didn’t deserve to die. We are sinners and we don’t deserve to live in Heaven. But God so loved us that He provided a way for us to escape from the curse of sin and death through Jesus, and most people will refuse to receive God’s Heavenly provision. In this passage of scripture, the Bible states that our condemnation will be the fact that light has come into the world and we love darkness rather than light and what proves this fact to be true is the evil of our deeds. What proves that we love God and are doing the Truth is the fact that our deeds are changing as His divine nature is being made manifest in us. Religion can’t change our spiritual nature from disobedience to God into obedience to God. Only through Christ in us can we go from loving darkness (disobedience) to loving light (obedience. Christ is us is the only way to Live and not Die. The things we do reveal our spiritual nature. The things we love determine the things we do. If we love darkness rather than light, we don’t deserve eternal life. If we love the evil lifestyle of living life without God, we don’t deserve Heaven. Yet, God has shown His love for you by punishing Jesus for your sins and God has raised Jesus from the dead that you might have His divine nature, which will fit you for Heaven. Will you receive the goodness of God and return to fellowship with Him? You can pick up where Adam left off and Live Forever, through faith in Jesus Christ.
DO OR DIE
Bonnie sometimes will say to me “I want it done within the hour.” There are times when it is necessary to just DO IT, but there are also times when timing is important and it needs to be DO IT NOW. Recently I was watching a football game and the team that was behind by 1 point had 31 seconds left in the game. They were at the five yard line and it was third down. They could kick a field goal and tie it up with 31 seconds or they could go for a touchdown and win the game. Most of the time coaches will go for the sure thing and kick the field goal but this coach decided he had confidence in his team and he chose To DO OR DIE. The team went for the win and lost the game. The whole team was affected by one man’s decision, the coach. After the game the broadcasters said the coach made the wrong choice. However, if the team would’ve made a touchdown and won the game, that coach would’ve been hailed as a hero. The Bible does the same thing with us. We are only here for a few minutes of time and the game is over. We are the ones who decide whether we win or lose, but God has provided for us to win by the power of God. Time is always past, present or future, but Eternity is always NOW. When God talks to us, it is always now. Our free choice is always now. In God’s world, it is Do or Die. But God says it like this; Take, Eat and Live.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3
Pray unto to God with your Heart.
Heavenly Father,
I ask you for your gift of Eternal Life in Jesus name. Jesus I make you the Lord of my Life. Jesus Come into my Heart. Thank you for dying in my place that I might LIVE by you. Satan I lay down my Life in Adam that I might take it up again in Christ Jesus my Lord. Thank you Heavenly Father for your Goodness and Grace. In Jesus name I pray and declare!!!
Jesus,
I believe you are the savior of the world, which God sent from Heaven to earth to conquer death for me and give me your life. I believe you died upon the cross and defeated Satan on my behalf to make me free from the powers of death. I accept you as my Savior and Lord. Come into my heart and make me a new creature. I believe I receive you now in your name.
