The Secret of Eternity
The Secret of Eternity is the theme of the Bible. It is also the key, which unlocks the treasure inside your heart. For centuries the church has based its teachings of the Bible on the forgiveness of sins and Heaven when we die. These things are only where the revelation of God’s purpose for creation begins. The Secret of Eternity lies hidden and ready for activation within your heart. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). What God is doing is not of this world and is far beyond our imagination. The things of the Spirit are eternal, and more real than the things of this natural world. God wants to quicken our hearts and reveal these things to us so we can understand him.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. (Hebrews 12:9-10)
In our book, “You Can Be A Son, Secret of Eternity, you will learn about the purpose of God in His creation of the universe and the human race. The clues are found in the historical words of Jesus, in the historical book called the Bible. God is the heavenly father and He is enlarging His heavenly family that He can love with His unlimited love forever. Jesus called God “His father, the Heavenly Father,” and the Bible calls God “the father of spirits.” (Hebrews 12:9) Everyone has been invited to Heaven to live forever with Jesus, but not all will respond. God wants everyone to be saved from Satan’s dominion and powers of death, but not all people will receive the redemption that God has provided for them.
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. (Hebrews 2:14-18)
Jesus is the one and only messiah that has historically conquered Satan and his powers of death for us and has risen again to give us His divine nature of eternal life. If you will come to God with the proper attitude, He will forgive your sins and save you. Jesus is alive and He gives us His divine nature so we can be born again into Heaven through faith in the Operation of God. Through His death upon the cross, Jesus bore away our sins, took our punishment and gave us His divine nature of eternal life, which we receive and appropriate in our hearts by faith.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3:4-8)
Death is not a one time experience. Death is the power of Satan to separate you from God forever, by your own choice. There are three levels of Death, spiritual death, physical death and eternal death. If you fail to come to God with the proper attitude of faith, you will die in your sins and you will wish you were never born. God has prepared a place in Heaven for you but you must receive the heavenly gift to unlock God’s supernatural power of the Spirit of Christ in you. Jesus will quicken you by His Spirit. He will wash away all your sins and give you His divine nature. Just like you were born into planet earth, even so you will be born again of the Spirit of God into the Kingdom of God and receive an eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15) God created you for Himself and He wants to see you in Heaven. He even sent the messiah Jesus from heaven to accomplish our redemption so we could receive His salvation through the Operation of God. (Colossians 2:12)
My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. (Proverbs 23:15) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death. (Proverbs 14:12)
The B.I.B.L.E. means Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. In the day of death, you need to be ready. God wrote the Bible to help you with that. God doesn’t want anyone to perish and He has made provision for us to prevent that. Herein lies the Secret of Eternity, don’t leave earth without it.
